Politics Is A World of Blowjobs?
Tun M blow DSAI out of the government and UMNO when he sees DSAI as a threat to his position as PM. When Ezam rejoins UMNO, many members cite their skepticism as th why he return to the party. Millions of Taxpayers Money Gone!
State senior executive council member Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham said the Pakatan Rakyat government was shocked at the way the fund, meant for small projects, had been spent before or during the March 8 general election campaign period. - The Star
Urging the previous government to itemise the expenditure, Ngeh said: “This is a clear case of bad management.
“The allocation is intended for the whole year but spent within two months. Has it been spent for political purposes?” - The Star.

Toll Free For Public Transport?
- mSTAR.
Yesterday Persatuan Pengusaha Bas Seluruh Malaysia (PMBOA) applied to increase bus fare at 100% which will constitute to a higher cost of traveling for locals especially. They cited the rising operational cost is making the operators finding difficult to make end meets. Rising price of petrol, maintenance and other operation factors are causing them difficult to make a profit. Most of these factors are uncontrollable but still something can be done to help these operators and not passing down the solution to consumers. I quote what Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Datuk Noh Omar said;"Saya difahamkan bagi bayaran tol sahaja syarikat syarikat bas terpaksa membelanjakan berjuta-juta ringgit, begitu juga kos untuk menyewa terminal," katanya ketika ditemui di lobi Parlimen di sini,.
If toll alone cost them millions, why not just let these public transport travel toll free on all highways and I think will help them to cut operational cost. When public transport is cheaper, public might opt for public transport rather than using personal vehicles. When more people use public transport, it helps to conserve energy for the benefit of future generations.
Ezam- Surviving or Sinking?
Quote:
-Mohd Rashidi Hassan
Go and read more about the chronology related to Ezam before 12th GE and Ex Selangor MB, Datuk Seri Khir Toyo, and also KJs camp.
Another quote:
Semuanya belum tentu!
After leaving KeADILan and strive to fight corruption. He was said to turn down the offer to contest the GE. Mmmmm.....maybe not confident if the opposition could perform much better than the previous election when BN won with a landslide victory. But things seems going the way of the opposition and his party that he helped formed with de facto DPM became the majority of the oppositions in Parlaiment. Maybe he regretted not accepting the offer and now to go back to KeADILan is equivalent to eating back his words. So he has no choice to get back in active politics and saw the best opportunity with an uprising star in UMNO, the SIL.
Its interesting to see what is going to happen to this young man after his name was fading in the mainstream politics after he quits KeADILan and strive under GERAK. Will he survive the storms in UMNO or just drown with the sinking Titanic? .
Whats Next?
Tun M quit UMNO.

BMC Fracas: Chang Do Not Deserve This
I am a Melayu, Chang is a Chinese and I symphatise on what happened to Chang Jiun Haur, 21. He might be at the wrong place at the wrong time. But if it is true the men in blue did that, then on what valid reasons. Eventhough he was alleged as running over a FRU personnel, he does not deserve such punishment. The men in blue are law enforcer and if what being accused as true haul him to court and not a mobsters beating. They uphold the law or taking it in their own hands.
About 20 police personnel beat up Chang Jiun Haur, 21, for allegedly running over a FRU personnel. The evidence? A broken baton and conflicting claims. - Malaysiakini
By his account, he was only a curiosity-seeker who wanted to know what was going on at the site of a disputed barricade near Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) last night.- Malaysiakini

Change The School Uniform
Its a pro and cons. Many will argue that why when a girl fall victim to a male, its always the female is to be accused. Many too point fingers at the way the female dress. No doubt a sexily dressed women will make head turns in most men. Men are men. But not every man on the street is a molester or a raper. So, do dress is the main culprit of sexual crimes among women? To me dress is just part of the whole set up. Men too must be blame because he might has a sick mind to go beyond feasting his eyes.
As a Muslim I am not arguing about the aurat of women who must cover her whole body but the palm and face and men what is between his navel and the knee. "Sesungguhnya sebilangan daripada ahli neraka ialah perempuan-perempuan yang berpakaian, tetapi bertelanjang yang condong kepada maksiat dan menarik orang lain untuk melakukan maksiat. Mereka tidak akan masuk syurga dan tidak akan mencium baunya." Riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim.
The school uniform in Malaysia has been in effect since late 60s (if I am not mistaken). Boys are encouraged to wear long pants while girls can choose either navy blue pinafore over white shirt or white baju kurung (a long tunic that covers the arms) over long navy blue skirt. When awareness of Islam catch up with Muslim girls, they start wearing the white tudung. They look very decent and fulfill the needs of Muslim womens dressing code that is to cover the aurat. There are however still a few who did not wear the tudung and hence exposed the white baju kurung and some whose baju kurung is a bit translucent or transparent, the bra line beneath can be seen. This is what I think that provoke the sexiness in the uniform. Are the girls to be blamed?
What about the role of parents in the first place and the teachers secondly to stop this?. Where is their obligation to advice their daughters to wear a thicker more opaque baju kurung? A baju kurung for once does not show the figure of the wearer. If the girl cover up with a tudung then the bra line can be concealed and does this still seen as sexy? Why not educate and advise the girls not to purposely expose what is under their baju kurung. If the baju kurung is translucent, why not ask them to wear a female singlet underneath?
I think to change the school uniform is a bit drastic these days when there are still ways to overcome. Would it be much better to educate the Muslim girls (and non Muslims) on the proper dressing etiquette as laid out by Islam and not because of a mosquito, the whole mosquito net is burnt.
Sexual harassment and sexual crime is not the fault of the women alone. Men too has to be blamed. One at times cannot clap with just one hand.

If You Can't Beat 'Em Join 'Em
Accepting the influence of the new media, now the government is going to engage bloggers in cyberspace. Does that equivalent fighting the lions in the latter's den?
KUALA LUMPUR: The Government will take on bloggers in cyberspace and respond to wild and baseless allegations raised in blogs.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said remaining silent was no longer an option.
He acknowledged that the Government had overlooked the need to engage the new media, which was a new dimension in shaping public opinion, in the recent general election. - The Star
How successful this next encounter remains to be pondered. First why did the people turn to the new media? Secondly will these people return to the MSM to be portrayed in cyberspace? Most people switch to the new media due to its accessibility anywhere all over the world compared to the MSM that is only and mainly available within the country and the one sided report makes people get pissed off. MSM is always whistleblowing the ruling partys agenda even though it is just propaganda to hoodwink the public and they are getting disgusted. The same goes to electronic media.
When the government turn to the new media, how are are they to get back the readers. If the blogs carries the same material that is printed on the MSM, it will be the same. As for sure I did not buy newspaper on a constant basis since 1998. There are bloggers who blog siding the BN but it has been proven that these blog did not manage to convince surfers due to rejection.Monday, May 26, 2008
Ezam- No Carrot Dangling?
Ezam as individual has his own right to choose his political platform. According to report he has not made any statement that he is joining UMNO. At this juncture, his friend Salahudin Ayub from PAS also invited him to join PAS. UMNO's Information Chief said that Ezam is welcome back in UMNO but there is no carrot dangling. He will be accepted as members just like any Malays (is UMNO for Malays?) who wanted to join the sinking ship. Do we believe that a person of Ezam's calibre will not be given any prominent post? At this time when the PKR is gaining root, will UMNO not take any opportunity to cut the roots from growing KeADILan into a prosperuous tree? There must be something up the sleeves of UMNO.
Maxis Sucks Too
At first my application was turned down because I have some back dated debts with TMTouch (now defunct) previously. Principally they lost one customer. So I register under my wife's name. I was told that my subscription will be activated that night. However until 3.44 pm the next day (Sunday 25th May) it is still not activated. I called the 24/7 Customer Service and was told that my case will be forwarded to the relevant department and it will take about 24 hours to get my subscription activated. Oh My God!!!!!. I have to wait for two days (48 hours) just for the technicians at Maxis to click the mouse on their keyboard and activate my account.
Now I have lost 2 days of my 7 days trial connection using the USB Modem so that I can get back my refund of RM 100.
Until I post this blog, the account has not been activated. I think after this there is enough for me relating to Maxis. Since they originated from the same company that operates ASTRO their service is not much better than ASTRO that created lots of complains from subscribers. Like father like son.

Malaysian Hospitality
This is the tagline by MAS whose airline code is MH. MH is not just our airline code, it stands for Malaysian Hospitality. “It is the hospitality of Malaysians that we want to bring to our customers; to make them feel the warmth, friendliness and culture we have in Malaysia when they get on our flights while Malaysians will feel at home - The Star.Picture on left copied from THIS BLOG.
Malaysia Airlines is a pretty good airline. Most of the time, their service is above the par. The problem is inconsistency. As I have said before, most of the time, they are good...in fact excellence. But at times, their courtesy and friendliness dissapeared, their food got stale and the air plane was not in good shape, I mean in terms of the equipment and such.
Of delayed flights and turbulent weather.
Loaq Dome Ezplanade.
Warm, friendly, gracious, respectful.....this is Malaysian Hospitality (MH), the Malaysia Airline way of life and commitment to you whenever you fly with them.
I blog about my experience with Malaysian Hospitality on MAS HERE.
So Tun M Quits UMNO - Datuk Mokhzani Too
It was an earth shaking announcement from one man who used to rule Malaysia as an administrator that he quit UMNO and giving an ultimatum that he will rejoin if the present President resign as PM and President of UMNO. I call it earthshaking because there is an earthquake in Tawau and Sumatra greeting of the resignation (?) What an earth shattering decision. I was in Labuan and watch TV3's Nightline for the earthshattering announcement. And of course I felt the Tawau earthquake effect at the place I was in Labuan.
Today NST carry a report that the resignation was due to a dare by a man by the name of Ismail Pak Wan Teh. After Tun M took the dare, he a 42 years old Jerlun PAS division Chairman and tagged as a hero. Jerlun is also a parliament constituency under Tun M's son Datuk Mukhriz who did not want to follow his father's decision. The latest news as published in The Star online that after two days after his brother made the decision stand by and to remain the President's man his brother Datuk Mokhzani is resigning too. The Tawau and Sumatran earthquake has done more damage than expected, I suppose. The aftershock of the resignation of the former PM will be more interesting after this. Will the wall crumble or those loyalist still stand behind the President?
UPDATED.
The Star report : Mukhriz said he hoped "action will be taken before the party’s branch level meetings in July, and if the Prime Minister still does not step down by then, I reserve the right to take a different stand.

Leveling The Playing Field

Lingam Tape- The Sequel?
Now many Malaysian will be anxious to know whether the sequel will be released or not.
KTM - Ketibaan Tidak Menentu
I seldom take the transitlink and can't blog about the service. Now most of my travel is on LRT since I am lucky that my home is not far from the LRT station. However once I wanted to go to Midvalley and that means I have to change from LRT to KTM communter at Bandar Tasik Selatan. When I arrive at the station there were many commuters waiting and when I asked how long will the next train will arrive the answer is so unexpected. He has been waiting for nearly two hours and still the train has not arrived. Compared the train towards Seremban he said there has been already six commuter train passing the station and from Seremban has been hours. No wonder whenever a train arrives, commuters rush in without waiting for those who wanted to disembark.
Today The Star carry this story. Read also HERE.
So can KTM still be called Keretapi Tanah Melayu? Or a better name as Ketibaan Tidak Menentu.

An Email From Greenpeace
Hi ,
I've just written to Ratan Tata asking him to not to go ahead with building a port in Dhamra, Orissa, dangerously close to one of the world's largest sea turtle nesting grounds for the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle. I think its a good idea for Mr. Tata to move the port to another location rather than endanger the turtles.
By living up to the Tatas' environmental legacy, Ratan won't just save the highly-endangered Olive Ridley Turtles, he will also end up making Tata a better company.
The only problem is that I can't bring about that change alone. I need help from lots of people, especially you.
Please do what I've done. Write directly to Ratan by clicking here

The Saga
The resident of Bandar Mahkota Cheras faced a different Saga. They are facing the Grand Saga, the concessionaire for the Kajang-Cheras highway. Thing has become heated since the resident of the new housing township tear down the barricade, which is the only access road to the highway. This lead to the latest issue of law enforcer have to use teargas and water cannons. Seems that they are still practising partisan and loyal to their defeated side the BN. It is sad to still have law enforcers and who is responsible to keep peace. By taking sides how can they be peace keepers as duty of peace keepers is to see that both sides uphold the peace. When PDRM take sides they have breached their responsibility and making the other side felt an unfairness had taken place by someone who are supposed to look after their safety. In sports they will be accused as pengadil berat sebelah.
I was not at the location but from reports and past experience of police partisan towards BN especially when involving opposition I can see the unfairness had taken place.
Why do the resident of Bandar Mahkota Cheras have to be forced to take a longer route and pay toll when they have access road which is shorter. BMC is not the only new township that have to use the Kajang-Cheras Highway to Kuala Lumpur. There are many more housing estates along the highway such as Cheras Perdana, Bandar Tun Hussien Onn, residents of Balakong etc that uses the same junction to access the highway without having to go through Batu 11 toll plaza. It is unfair for residents of BMC who were forced by Grand Saga to pay toll when they have the choice of not having to do so.
I am not a resident of BMC but I support the effort of the community in pressing for their right. They have no alternative but to use the highway and going through the toll both when they should be given toll free road after the Cheras-Kajang highway is upgraded to a tolled highway. It is daylight robbery on the part of Grand Saga.
Avoid use of "Ketuanan"
When in Terengganu and Perlis UMNO leaders show disagreement which equals to derhaka towards the Sultan and the Agong for nomination of MBs, the case has been laid to rest. It is worse in Terengganu when the word natang were used which is very rude towards the Sultan. No action? No police reports?
Ong Tee Kiat urged the term ketuanan are not to be used because it has a negative connotation. The term ketuanan is used by UMNO widely when they felt that the Malay rights has been encroached. Anybody from UNMO want to say anything?
It Doesn't Pay To Get Publicised?
Pak Mali or Hashim Awang who has been living on a tree house for the past four years lost his home when the tree where his house was located were chopped down by the Kangar Municipal Authority. It was reported in New Straits Times today.
His only wish was to spend his twilight years in his tree house after his wife died two years ago. On Wednesday afternoon that dream was shattered when his home was demolished by the Kangar Municipal Council.
The 65-year-old masseur could only sit and watch helplessly as the giant excavator tore down his home.- NST.
Hashim initially used his tree house as a resting hut when he worked as a fisherman. He would change his clothes and take naps there after returning from sea every afternoon.
Hashim said he did not know what he planned to do next.
"All I wanted was to live in the tree house by myself. Some friends have invited me to stay with them, but I don't know what to do,"
Council president, Faezan Omar said the tree house was an illegal structure and that Hashim had agreed to vacate it. -NST
Maybe the tree house is illegal but the three is still legal. Then why cut down the tree when only what is on the tree is illegal. So, if a building were to be used for illegal activities or any unlicensed business which deem to be illegal, will the whole building be demolished too?

Post Election's Malaysian Unity
At Sungai Buloh prison the temporary shelter for RPK, bloggers and supporters held a vigil and those attended does not care which bangsa RPK is from. Watching the video makes me get goosebumps because the true Malaysia is present among Malaysians. The video HERE.
Bad Incident Is a Blessing Too
Recently I was on my way to Shah Alam through KESAS Highway. My fuel meter shows a fuel warning that the tank must be filled. I decided to stop and fill at the Awan Besar R&R because there are three petrol stations at the location. Unfortunately all the three stations were not doing business eventhough it is open. I think there was a power failure and the pumps can be operated. So the question should petrol stations have standby generators? Maybe a common generator to be shared by a few businesses which is more economical than an individual genrator.
I moved on and planning to fill up at another station near Proton before exiting into Shah Alam. However I was unfortunate because after the Sunway Toll Plaza the engine starts choking and dies off. Just a few minutes after stopping, a KESAS Ronda vehicle came and they offered to buy petrol for me. I oblighed. While waiting I open up the bonnet and found out that there is a leak at the power steering pump. Upon checking the power steering oil, it was near empty. If the car had not stalled, I would have not knew about the leak and further driving might dry up the power steering mechanism which will result in a more costly repair.
The pump cost RM 220 with RM40 or labour and things are fixed.
That is what I consider as a blessing. The empty fuel tank lead me to detect a leak in the power steering pump and save me a heavier repair bill. Is that not a blessing in disguise?
The morale of the incident is, NEVER accuse God of whatever bad things happens to you. Take it positively just like the belief that when someone becomes ill or suffer pain, its sign that God loves you. He wash away some of your sin on this world before you move on to the afterworld which is forever.

News Of The Day = RPK
Most bloggers today blogs about RPK and his refusal of being bailed. Even his detention was brought up in parliament by YB Kim Kit Siang. Malaysia Today reports that supporters had come together and donated a sum of RM 24,500 in CIMB account and USD 4,330.10 (approximately RM 15155.35 based on x 3.5) . It is more than enough to bail him out. The amount donated (>RM39,000) should open the eyes of many. It just show how many people wish to see the true Malaysia. The 8th March tsunami was not the end of the peoples outcry but the after effect still play as the undercurrent.RPK has been one of the source for most Malaysians who has lost confidence in MSM's and hence come to support him during his times of difficulties.
RPK according to reports refused to pay bail and from Sg Buloh prison refused to see anyone including his wife Marina Lee Abdullah. I am sure everybody is curious to know what really happen. Did he really denied meeting anyone or being denied? Updates 1247 HERE.
What's in RPK's mind is everybody's wonder. Is he expecting to have lunch or dinner with Razak Baginda? Is he trying to prove that freedom does not equals RM? Whatever his reason for not wanting to post bail and denied meeting everyone will subsequently leave more stones to be upturned.

Account Name Holder: Visvalingam
note: account number corrected, the account number given by Marina Lee (RPK's wife)
updates 1045: we are waiting for RPK to approve on using PayPal Donation -- RPK approved at 1105.
updates 1231: RPK's bail out set to RM5,000.00 - total PayPal Donation as at now $758.72 USD / it shoud be enough when we combine with the donation at CIMB account. THANK YOU MALAYSIAN!
I'll perform my obligation tonight due to work constrain but maybe there is already enough money to bail him out. So, whatever balance let's start a bloggers fund for future cases like this, so bloggers can be bailed out immediately before going to Sungai Buloh.

Jabatan Pembangunan Persekutuan Is Wasting Public Funds
The aim of the JPP according to Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan, Minister of Housing and Local Authority, is to channel federal funds.
"Tetapi kini negeri negeri ini kesemuanya di bawah pemerintahan pembangkang, kerajaan persekutuan perlu menubuhkan Pejabat Pembangunan untuk mengendalikan dana persekutuan," katanya kepada pemberita selepas melancarkan perayaan Hari Bomba dan Penyelamat hari ini. -mStar.
The various state government is the machinery at the state level regardless of political beliefs but why they have to be discriminated when they are the chosen one by the people.
Forming the JPP is a sheer waste of public fund. New officers and staffs have to be recruited. New office has to be set up which will include daily, monthly and yearly budget. Is it not a waste when the allocation can be channeled somewhere else for the benefit of more Malaysians?
If all these while BN has been lambasting that the opposition does not know how to administer the government, why not give them the money for the next four years and let them prove themself instead of tying up their feet and ask to run the mile and binding their hands asking them swim the butterfly stroke.
The setting up of the JPP is just depriving and not accepting the people's right and choice. Then on the eve of the next election they will go round telling that the opposition has not done anything for the people. How can they when they were not given the grant due to them or playing the delaying tactics.

@ CIJ and BENAR Function
the Annexe Central Market even though I am not a journalist. I am helping making Malaysia a more democratic nation and after 8th March, our job is still not done. The ruling party will pull out everything in the pandora's box in ensuring that the 5 states under PA's rule will not succeed.I am just an ordinary voter, however I have to play my small part in nation building and since I am blogging, I need an independent voice too. So both the event is fruitful to me and hope the fight for more transparent and level playing field media will end up with success.
It is an uphill task to change the 50 years habit of Malaysian and her leaders who are complacent enough with their power for so long. We need to change for a better Malaysia and one aspect that need to be changed is Freedom of Voice. Voice of Malaysians who are for such a long time were swept under the carpet for fear that someone might loose power.

No Streamyx And Celcom 3G Sucks
I subscribe to Celcom 3G at RM 68 for unlimited usage. But the service also sucks. I have to wait for ages to download even one page on my screen. Besides the more than a snail pace slow downloading, it gets disconnected occasionally. I am getting fed up and this is what we are getting from our Broadband services. And we have the guts to boast that we have the MSC.
What is worth as a blogger, I can't even get logged on to blogger website and even my Gmail. Oh!!! this really sucks.
Any reader who know the performance of DIGI Edge and/or Maxis HSDPA? I am in Bukit Jalil area.
