Will MACC React?

Picked from Tumpang Sekole..... verbatim

The money, he added, was for activities related to the MCA divisions. Tiong's number two in KDSB, Faizal Abdullah, also said that Ong had used the company's private jet five times and 'owed' them US$40,000 for the services.

Speaking to Malaysiakini, Tiong claimed that h
e had pumped in the millions after being requested to do so by Ong. The money was apparently paid in cash over three installments during meetings with the MCA president held in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur last year. It is unclear whether the alleged payments were to fund Ong's election campaign to be party president last October.

Will MACC investigate? They will if Ong is an opposition leader.

Thailand: Land Of Smile

Thailand is graced with Land of Smile because of the smile of their beautiful fair ladies and the beautiful ladyboys ever popular at the tourist resort beach in Pattaya. However negative reports of scams and corruption among uniform personnel is nothing to be surprised about. Malaysians who use to cross the borderinto Thailand has been paying 'forced bribe' since time unknown.

Everybody who cross the border into Thailand with a valid travel document has to pay the so called petition writer stationed at booth set up just before the immigration booth. These petition writers who were not uniformed will register the travel document with a sum of fee. If you don't want to pay, he will just ignore you and you are not going to get your document stamped from the Immigration officer. Don't you think that is bribery? Just imagine how much money the officers gets daily from thousands tourist who enter Thailand at border towns. That is just bribe of the lowest form.

Mahaguru posted in his blog a case of Suvarnabhumi International Airport scam involving two British IT expert , Stephen Ingrim and Xi Lin. They were accused of shoplifting a wallet from a duty free shop. When the Thai authority approached them to check their baggage for the supposedly shoplifted wallet, their ordeal starts. Read the story HERE as reported in BBCNews.

Sometimes ago I received an email from a friend relating the same modus operandi scam also at the same airport. That scam involves Malaysian tourist to Bangkok. The incident also begins at the Duty Free shop. Read about it at If You Go To Thailand.

The two indicents might only be the tip of the iceberg. Phuket Wan has more to tell.

Just sit back and ponder. If you or any of your relatives or friend were to be the unlucky victim of the scam, how much help can you get from the Thai enforcement authorities when they themselves are part of the plot. Whichever way it goes the victim will still be the cucumber while the Thai authorities are the durian.

I have no intention whatsoever to scare tourist to Thailand or to spoil tourism to the Land of Smile but, just to share and warn about what others had been experiencing when travelling to foreign countries. It will take ages to clean up dirty tactics like corruption because it is already part of a lifestyle just like in Malaysia. However the government has to take serious action to safeguard and respect tourist since their visit helps the economy of the country.

A reader who visited my blog left a comment on my blog exposing that her husband too was a victim to such scam but happens in Medan, Indonesia.

This is what she posted in the comment; Suami saya menerima nasib yang hampir sama, tapi di Medan.

A RENTED BUNGALOW AND A MANSION

NST carries the story Gerakan quizzes CM over rented bungalow. Penang CM moved to a newly renovated bungalow from his official residence. This spark jealousy from Gerakan Youth Vice Chief H'ng Khoon Leng. Maybe Lim's bungalow is much bigger than his. So what is wrong for him not to stay at his official residence if he feel that it is more comfortable and that constitute to peace of mind. A good home is where someone feels comfort. This is the picture (credit to NST online) of the bungalow which Gerakan Youth Chief was jealous about.
I can still remember when I was in Kedah, the Menteri Besar of Kedah too did not stay at his official residence in Seri Mentaloon but somewhere else. Why Gerakan or any BN component did not question his choice of residence? Maybe Penang Gerakan is still sore that they lost the state last year. What a sore loser.

UPDATED

In today's The Star there is a follow up of the above story. LGE moved out of the official residence after an inspection carried out by theNLC General Pest Control (North) on June 29 that revealed termite infestation in the building.

Dr Chuah Chong Cheng, an academic consultant at the Geocosmic Centre of Yijing Meta-science Research Malaysia, said he advised LGE to move out because the location of the residence is politically unfavourable to him according to I-Ching because the mansion is sitting on an "insectarium".

His predecessor Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon never stayed at the mansion but did Gerakan Youth Vice Chief H'ng Khoon Leng, made any noise about it? Dr KSK is also Gerakan what? I think Gerakan now has nothing to do but to find mistakes of the government.

On the other hand mStar and The Star reports that Khir Toyo's house at Section 7, Shah Alam is valued at RM 24 million. Why does Gerakan not question about this mansion below? Is this comparable to the one that Penang CM rented?

SEX TOO NOT SPARED

Sex is basic needs for humans and the animal kingdom. What is sex? I don't know. Hahahaha...... Read HERE. Yea la, I need sex too and don't you think it is normal.

What prompeted me to write this post is This Headline. Lecturer demanded sex and money from a student in order to get good grades. Is this an isolated case? I don't think so. But however can be classified isolated because not all victims lodge reports and maybe to MACC this might be a first report. Personally I give due respect to the victim for her bravery to take such action. Most victims especially females see it as a disgrace to expose such behaviour because we look at sex as something taboo. When we think of sex it might always be as a man and a women having intercourse. Aaaahh....maybe porn did infiltrate our mind.

So, do you agree that sex sells?

Kak Min Exposed!

Now the true colour of the Penanti by-election is exposed.

She was successful in making herself felt in the Penanti by-election as a candidate against PKR's Dr Mansor and two other independant candidates. I think she had planned it this way because she could foresee that she's a no hoper to win.

Is this the kind of representative that we want to elect? One who set traps to gain mileage. With the exposure from the two mentioned individuals, now we can see that the trap is hitting back on its setter- Perangkap makan tuan.

We should raise our hat to the two PRK officials for coming forward to admit that they are the mentioned individuals in the recorded VCD proof that Kak Min had with her and handed over to SPR. The intention and planning to record the conversation when the two were guests for lunch at her house already showed that she had bad intention. Is this the kind of leader we want?

RM 25 Million From BN To Jump Ship

The picture above was downloaded from mStar report alleging that BN offered RM25 million for each PR state reps to join BN. This shows how desperate BN is to topple the legal state government. This was disclosed by a Ipoh Barat PKR Division Chief,  Fauzi Muda, about the offer by BN after the March 08  Tsunami. If the allegation is proven, then I think SPRM might net a giant catch in Malaysian history.

All Fingers Pointing To.......

All eyes are now focused on Perak. The government is at the brink with a one seat advantage. Kelantan has been in this situation and UMNO was going all out try topple the PAS government but Allah is great and maintain the Islamic government until now. And now the Kelantan PAS government is very comfortable.

After the Mac 08 political tsunami, UMNO, unlike other component parties, has become like gila talak after losing another four states to PR. Since then they have been going all out to "rob" back the Selangor and Perak state government. They are now pulling out all their trump cards to bring down Tan Sri Khalid in Selangor with ex MB at the helm. And in Perak too, they are using their unexhausting tactics to topple the legal government illegally. Lets hope the SPRM will keep a close eye on the politicians in Perak  especially the two AWOL Exco who had gone missing and reportedly hiding in TPM's house in Pekan. DSAI said TPM is behind it because he is good at hiding missing person including Bala (who is missing until today). It was also reported that if they defect to UNMO the accusation of them accepting bribe last year will be erased (Malaysia Boleh).  On top of that they will be rewarded (not bribe in BN's vocabulary) with RM10 million and post of MB of Perak if Perak government is toppled. SPRM: can this be tantamount to bribe?

All fingers are now pointing to UMNO at what is happening in Perak. It is a show of their non compliance to the Sultan of Perak and not respecting the people of Perak who booted them out in the last election.

If there were going to be a snap election either in the two constituencies concerned or the Perak state, then the rakyat in other parts of Malaysia will again be deprived of development expenditure because RM will be diverted to Perak and showered to lure voters to vote for BN like in other elections, big and small. But they will say NO!!, this is not because of the election but our responsibility. Bull shit.

Government Department D-G Arrested?

This is an interesting news from The Star.

A director-general of a government department and six others, including two Datuks, have been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Agency for alleged graft.
ACA director of investigations Datuk Shukri Abdul confirmed that all seven have been remanded for questioning.

Who are they? Most of us will be anxious to know the department concerned.

Its Raining Heavily

Since 4.30 in the evening its rains heavily over here in Alor Setar. Till now 7.30 in the evening it is still raining heavily. So it will be very difficult for supporters to turn up to witness first hand the result of the elections. For once, the weather forecast is true.

Many muslims believe that rain is a blessing. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the opposition will deny BN a 2/3 majority.

Reference to Lingam Tape Inquiry

A NST report HERE can be linked to other news relating to Lingam Tape inquiry.

What Is This?

RM3,000 for a witness in an investigation involving a high ranking government officer? I think this revelation is just a tip of the iceberg. What is the function of ACA?
clipped from www.nst.com.my
'ACA officer gave me RM3,000'
The courtroom was silent when Jayanti replied: "They told me about three months later that the file had to be closed because it involved high-ranking officers in the government. They then gave me RM3,000 cash."

Mydin- Donkey for BN?

I was surprised to read a posting by tokasid on his blog. I happen to find tokasid's blog one day and found out that he is an ex Sultan Abdul Hamid Collegeian in Alor Setar and I was educated there too up to form 5. But what I am surprised about his latest posting is about a chain of an uprising supermarket in Malaysia - Mydin. He found out that Mydin is fanning BN by selling BN merchandise in their store. Yes!! I agree that they are insensitive to voters who might have helped them to grow by patronising and purchasing items from their chain of stores. Read tokasids posting.

I use to avoid Mydin because they are so suspicious of their patron who from their point of view every customers who enter Mydin has the intention to shoplift. So no one is allowed to enter Mydin if they carry any item that to them can be used to hide shoplifted items. I can understand if a customer bring in plastic bag of some sort of bags and jackets but when I was stop from entering because I carry a newspaper, thats the limit for me. I never patronise Mydin anymore after that incident. Now, after tokasid exposed their new antic, Mydin will be out of my shopping list.

Malaysian Judiciary Exposed?

Everytime whenever I logged on to the internet I will always click on the mStar website because usually it is updated more frequently. Tonight I saw and read the latest update is about our judiciary tittled Anwar Dakwa percaturan dalam badan kehakiman. The report is also accompanied by a video caption from a recording made in 2002. The video clip exposed what is purportedly a deal to arrange high level post in the Malaysian judiciary body.

Then I know there might more news on screenshots and I am right. The video clip that was posted on youtube and Malaysiakini can be viewed there. The 8 minute 6 seconds video on Youtube can be viewed here. I am not making any speculation on the video clip but you can view and listen for your self.

Read the transcript here.
You can also read more here.

RM 5 Million Dollar Story.

Seems that the RM5 million dollar story is getting interesting. Three hardcore criminals was released and today the news roll out that they are being detained again for further questioning relating to the RM5million story. I am not going to elaborate much but will lead you to the sources of the topic. You can read Rocky's Bru blog here for Part One and here for Part Two.

The man in the centre of this accusation and linked to this story is Deputy Minister of Internal Security, Datuk Mohd Johari bin Baharum. Personally I knew Datuk Jo as a teacher and when I was in the scout movement in Kubang Pasu but that relationship is just like saying I know the Prime Minister but he does not know me.

The PM says those being investigated for corruption need not resign and so he resume his official duties in his constituency, Kubang Pasu. Guys, signs of the election is round the corner.

Malaysia Today wrote; There is no need to worry if you are innocent – that is Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's message to those being investigated for corruption.

“What is being sought is justice,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister's message came in the wake of allegations of corruption against Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) director-general Datuk Seri Zulkipli Mat Noor and Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Mohd Johari Baharum.

Isu Rasuah Lagi
