Laylatul Qadr and its significance

Laylatul Qadr and its significance:

'via Blog this'

We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power:
And what will explain to thee what the night of power is?The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:Peace!...This until the rise of morn!(Qur'an, 97:1-5)

The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. This indicates that acts of worship such as prayer, charity, and recitation done on this night are better in reward than the same act done on other nights. The rewards (thawab) are being multiplied several-fold.

ESTABLISHING THE COMPANY’S BANK ACCOUNT

A business can’t run without money. So when you decided to start a business, you must have some savings to be turned into your capital. Savings alone is not proper if there is no transactions being done.

After you have registered your company with the Registrar of Companies, your next step is to open a bank account. For companies, clubs, organisations etc. the owner or person responsible can open an account with the bank of your choice. A word of advice is to choose your favourite bank or bank near to you since it would be easy to manage. I am writing this post as a newbie and relating my experience going through all those steps of running a business.

I open an account with CIMB Bank at one of the bank’s branch in Kuala Lumpur. Oops…… but before you can open an account, make sure your newly set up company has the official rubber stamp or cop. Ordering one is not difficult and can be ready within a few days. The rubber stamp will be your company’s identity to be used on any dealing with your bank account. It is usually rounded. I ordered mine for RM10.00.

Get the respective Forms from the bank and as with my account it is the CIMB Islamic. I was told that it is much better to open an Islamic Current Account because there is Mudharabah (profit sharing) s compared to interest in conventional account.

For the purpose of application, get ready a photostat copy of your MyKad, Company Registration Certificate and Company Chop. Of course la the money. For my account I have to deposit RM1k and that will be my start up capital. If the account is to be signed too, by your partner, he/she has to be present with the photostat copy of the MyKad to deliver his/her signature specimen.

After the bank approved your application to open an account, deposit RM1k (not sure of other banks, but I think that is standard) and I was told to come back after three days to collect my cheque book.

Ramadhan Approaching

Today Friday 29th July is the last Friday of Sya'ban, the eight month in the Muslim Calendar. As the sun sets on the last day of Sya'ban, marks the beginning of Ramadhan, when Muslims worldwide will fast from dusk to dawn as sign of submission to Allah SWT. Fasting during the month of Ramadhan is compulsory to all Muslims and is one of the pillars of Islam.

To all Muslims wherever you are, I wish Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan Al Mubarrak. Fulfill the command of Allah because we will never know whether we can meet the holy month of Ramadhan again next year.

SINCE WHEN IS BERSIH ANTI ISLAM?

Today I went to Surau Ar Rahman, PWTC for the Fridy prayer. So comfortable and relaxing to be here. After a bite on a banana and a cup of mineral water went in for ablution and sits in the prayer hall. It was so comfortable an relaxing. This has been my second time spending the Friday prayer here and seems the number of people congregating for this weekly prayer has increased tremendously. It shows that number of Muslims submitting to Allah is increasing. Allah Hu Akbar.

The sermon is related to the BERSIH assembly to be held on 9th July. It was an advice to Muslims not to join the assembly, constitutionally legal but made illegal by the hnds to be who are afraid of losing power and eventually richness.

I regret that the Friday sermon has been used to badmouth the assembly by branding it as an effort to ruin Islam. To me, I don't see the BERSIH assembly is anti Islam because what they are requesting is a clean electoral process so that true democracy can be practised in our beloved Malaysia. They are demonstrating to demand 8 bda practices being going on in Malaysia and it all centred around the Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya Malaysia and NOT Barisan Nasional, PERKASA, Silat Gayong or Islam. So why must we relate the assembly to anti Islam?

I support the assembly morally even though I will not be present at the location since I am not a member of any political party or ny of the coalition of NGOs involved. If I join then I am illegal.

Why support BERSIH? Its for the future of Malaysia. For the democracy and for the clean governing of the country. Every other guy on the street is complaining about graft within the government agencies. This is one of the rot that has been practiced because those political idiots are the great sharks of RASUAH.

Why Dispute?

The Star Online 22 Feb 2010.
International Gathering of Muslim Experts to discuss caning of women.

KUALA LUMPUR: An international Islamic conference would be held soon to discuss whether it is the norm to cane Muslim women found guilty of committing offences under Syariah law.

Why do we have to dispute that is stipulated in the Quran. Laws of the Quran is the law from Allah SWT.
I am not surprise if its the Non Muslim who took the effort but regret the Muslim leaders are taking the lead.

Don't Take Off Your Undies

..................on Valentine's Day.
Thats the advice from an NGO in Butterworth, Penang. The  advice is in relation to the upcoming "Festival of Love" (its my interpretation) or Valentine's Day. It's just round the corner.

The Star Online report that an NGO is going up in arms against Valentine's Day and a plan to get a group of students to go without panties on that day.

There is no harm to celebrate the day as a show of love to so someone special to you but it is not a passport for free sex. I don't think celebrating Valentine's means baring all and giving all. We have our moral values that  has to be upkeep.

For Muslims, Valentine's day should NOT be celebrated because its not one of the practice of the religion. Love is an every moment affair and why just allocate just one day of the year to confess it to your lover. Its just my two cents view.

Ramadhan 1430 Hijrah Begins

Today the dirst day of Ramadhan (Arabic: رمضان‎) begins. Ramadhan is the ninth month in the Muslim Calendar. During Ramadhan, Muslims all over the world starts fasting from dawn till sunset. By fasting one has to refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and undulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natured. The purpose of fasting is to teach patience, modesty and spirituality.

During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims asks for forgiveness from sins done in the past and purifying the inner self. After fasting during the day, Muslims will congregate to mosques and surau to perform the daily prayers (Isya') and the Tarawih, the only prayer done during the month of Ramadhan. Recital of the Quran or Tadarus in groups also being done.

Ramadhan is actually the month whereby Muslims do extra religuous rites because this is the month where Allah will convey rewards (pahala) in multiples compared to normal months.

Firman Allah S.W.T...
"Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, telah diwajibkan atas kamu berpuasa sebagaimana telah diwajibkan ke atas umat-umat sebelum kamu, semoga kamu menjadi orang yang bertaqwa. "
Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 183.

Fasting is wajib (compulsory) for every Muslims who fulfilled the requirements to fast. It is one of the pillar of Islam.

This evening I went out kuih shopping to the usual location since a dew years back that it at Seri Petaling. It is at Jalan Radin in front of SRK Seri Petaling on one side a Seri Petaling Mosque on the other side. Sometimes I use to go to Sungai Besi where there are more stalls and of course more choice of dishes.

Seems that the price on some items had increase but consumers have no choice. Bought Roti John as my son ordered for it. A large size filled with chicken costs RM 3.50 while a small one RM 1.80. Bought one large Roti John. Then I decided to walk to the stalls across the road. Its a new addition this year. Saw one stall selling Roti John too and the price is just RM 2.50 for chicken with black pepper sauce. On the first day of Ramadhan I was shortchanged for one ringgit already. Also saw a juga of sugar cane juice also increased from RM 2.50 to RM 3.00 this year. However the price of Murtabak Chicken or Beef at the stalls I use to buy still remains RM 2.00 a piece.

Among the popular stall at Seri Petaling is the popia either wet or fried and being sold for 5 at RM 3.00. However I was shortchanged last year for buying there. TodayI bought three for RM 1.00 at another stall. So if I buy RM3.00, I would have got 9 popiahs comparedof only 5 at the particular stall. The morale is, don't make a hasty decision before doing some calculation. Today's businessmen are clever in hoodwinking customers.

Whipped For Consuming Alcohol

A model was fined RM5,000 and ordered whipped six time for consuming alcohol in public last year. The Star report stated that Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarnor, 32, from Sungai Siput, Perak was charged under Section 136 of the Pahang Administration of the IslamLaw and Malay Custom Enactment. The sentence was passed by The Syariah High Court in Kuantan.

She was accused of committing the offence of consuming beer at Cherating Bay Lounge, the Legend Hotel in Cherating.

I just wonder what the outcome of the sentence will be if she was sentenced for consuming alcohol in either Kedah or Kelantan.

MIRACLE OF ALLAH

These two Arabic character is the most popular writings to be seen everywhere. The name of Allah The Almighty and the spelling of Muhammad (PBUH) the last prophet sent to mankind. Physically people write in the most beautiful of handwriting of Islamic calligraphy known as khat.

Both logos taken from HERE.

Both these names has been widely used by Muslims all over the world not only as decorative purposes but as a reminder to always remember Allah Azzawajalla, the creator of the universe and all its contents and prophet Muhammad (PBUH). However these two names are not only written by the human hands but also naturally in many places and beyond our normal thinking of its visibility to show humankind the greatness of the creator.

I found this You Tube video clip and would like to share with my readers the miracle of Allah the Almighty

Ibnu Majah's Hadis Confirmed DS Nizar's Stand

Datuk Seri Nizar does not relinquish from his post eventhough the opposition immorally has taken over taken the administration of Perak.

The above literally translated; "Uthhman, if you will one day be elected by Allah to administer leadership, and the munafikin want to take off the dress that God put on you, then don't take it off.

The above hadis was and advice from Prophet Muhammad PBUH to Uthman bin 'Affan RA in relation to the Sunnah in an administration.

I read about the above hadis from another blog by saifulislam

Boycott Has Not Ended

Recently there was a call to boycott American products whose company were giving aid to Israel and they are buying weapons to murder the Palestinians. Persatuan Pengguna Muslim Malaysia has identified three product in their campaign that is Coca Cola, McDonalds and Colgate. We can live without those three products though. There are alternatives which we can choose from. We boycott when we can but some people has been sinistic in saying that; then we must also boycott blogger, microsoft, Internet Explorer, computers etc., etc., etc., Don't they have brains? We boycott when there is an alternative. Just as simple as that.
Being a Muslim Bloggers Alliance member, I have been receiving information from the Alliance and the latest being a blog from another member who is a convert. Her blog Pendant of Joy is about her life and about Islam. Scrolling down I found a posting about the boycott. We might not remember the hundreds of products that has links to Israel

Boycotting American products is not an Islamic agenda but human agenda. Some might argue that why join the Muslims and just let them fight their own battle. Everybody and not only Muslims must know that Palestine is not the land of only Muslims. Before the formation of the illegal nation Israel, Palestine was land for other religion too...."the state of Israel only existed in 1948 and the first country to acknowledge it was the USA. Palestine used to be a big country and then when Israel existed, the Israels forced the people of Palestine out of their homes. Not just the Muslims but also the Christians, Protestants, Catholics, Coptic Christians and so on."

What I read at Pendant of Joy is a clue of what product to choose to boycott. On all products there are bar codes and those with Bar Code beginning with numbers 729 are products of Israel. Its easy to remember the bar code instead names of products.

Why must boycott? As a sane human being are we approving murdering of innocent women, elderly and children. If we have some pity and sympathise with the fate of those people of Palestine, we must do our part to condemn the Israeli's terrorism. If you are a Muslim you must read Pendant of Joy because you are answerable to Allah after doomsday of what have you done to help save innocent people.

View Israel (Laknatullah) Terrorism In Gaza

I receive another email depicting Israel terrorism in Gaza. Go HERE.

DAP Making Muslims United Through Hudud?

Over Buletin UtM tonight, we saw that Karpal Singh has hit out at PAS and KeADILan about the hudud law. I just don't understand why must this be an issue among non muslims when the law did not affect them at all. Just like the Syariah law, do not penalise non Muslims if they were found to commit Syariah offences with a Muslim. What is regretable is that Muslims especially UMNO are trying to paint hudud as negative when in actual fact they who call themselves Muslim and has the power is responsible to implement it, since it is a compulsory Muslim las as stiupated by Allah Azzawajalla.
What Karpal is acting will only distance the Muslims in PAS and Muslims in KeADILan away from DAP. Accept it or not the Malays who are Muslims has come to accept DAP as part and parcel of Pakatan Rakyat to dethrone BN. I myself voted DAP in my constituency since the candidate is not PAS nor KeADILan.
Karpal should understand what is hudud and Qisas and not depend on negative informations from BN especially UMNO. Karpal should understand that his statement will make the Malays who are Muslims more united.

The Shoe

I might be late in pbulishing this post but I don't want to be left out of the publicity. Muntadharal-Zaidi has become an overnight hero for the Iraqis and also a symbol of hate towards the American who took part in creating hardship especially in the Muslim world starting from Isreal. To me Muntadharal should be awarded a medal for bravery that can't be matched by any other Iraqis or those victims of American terrorism.

I think Bush who is counting his days to lift his ass from the US Presidency seat, has found the Weapon of Mass Destruction that he has been lying to the world to justify his terrorism on the Iraqis. He has also found the shadow of Osama Ben Laden. What was regreted was the shoe did not hit the traget.

Strip the words away, and his and the Iraqi people's cry of deep pain, anger and defiance would amount to no more than a shoe-throwing insult. But the words were heard. "This is the farewell kiss, you dog," he shouted as he threw the first shoe. The crucial line followed the second shoe: "This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq." - The Guardian.

Next time maybe all journalist are not allowed to wear shoes at press conference

A Sin Is A Sin

All of a sudden the subject of yoga has become a topic of debate. The decision of the Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan edict that yoga is haram (prohibited) eventhough for Muslims  might offend the Hindus since the practice of yoga  is related to the religion. However this edict does not affectnon Muslim. They are still free to practice the meditation and exercise.

As to other edicts, the responsible authority is just putting things straight. Whatever is stated in the Quran and Hadiths are laws to be followed by all Muslims. There is no question about it. The National Fatwa Council has already released the edict that smoking is haram, but still there many Muslims smoke including the imams and religuous scholars. It is as simple as committing a sin and one will be punished according to the sin committ. Every human being committ sins the prophet.

Whether the National Fatwa Council decided on the edict or not, whatever is not in tandem with Islam is haram. So, the National Fatwa Council's edict is nothing to shout about.
