Malaysian Hospitality

This is the tagline by MAS whose airline code is MH. MH is not just our airline code, it stands for Malaysian Hospitality. “It is the hospitality of Malaysians that we want to bring to our customers; to make them feel the warmth, friendliness and culture we have in Malaysia when they get on our flights while Malaysians will feel at home - The Star.

Malaysia Airlines is a pretty good airline. Most of the time, their service is above the par. The problem is inconsistency. As I have said before, most of the time, they are good...in fact excellence. But at times, their courtesy and friendliness dissapeared, their food got stale and the air plane was not in good shape, I mean in terms of the equipment and such.

My 1st time on board 9M-MMY. I actually forgot my pen and paper for my notes, but the efficient, kind and helpful MH f/a got me a MH writing set. B734’s are good old workhorses for MH and they are also maintained in tip top condition by MH engineering, but their age are indeed starting to show as most of their B734’s are from 1993 and 1994. Hope fully they get their new narrow body order sorted out soon.
