We did nothing much at window shopping because I plan to go back and visit the Jumheboh07 at Bukit Jalil. Just to entertain my son and grandson, I took then to a toy shop in Low Yat Plaza just to have a peek.
When its time for some late lunch took them to a cafe called Kopi Club at the lower ground floor of Low Yat Plaza. This is my first time I patronise such cafe. Usually I got to stalls or a mamak restaurant because the same quantity and type of food will cost half of that sold in cafe at shopping complexs. But this is just a once in a bluemoon occasion because I want my family to feel the taste of "expensive" food. Just to let them know that expensive food is no different from cheaper alternatives at mamak stalls. So why go to higher end restaurant when you can get the same food maybe tastier at a lower end restaurant.
This is Koey Teow fishball soup that my wife ordered. It is Koey Teow, chicken shred, fishball and of course soup. Garnished with fried garlic it comes with fresh chilli in soy sauce too. My taste bud gives this soup 3 out of 5.
My son ordered this Nasi Goreng Belacan (Shrimp Paste Fried rice) . As the name goes, of course it is fried with belacan (The smell can make you feel $@@%^& , if youare not used to it). My taste bud gives it 4 out of 5.
This is what I ordered. Nasi Pantai. Hmmm. Beach Rice. Just can't make it why they called it Nasi Pantai. It includes medium bowl of boiled rice, cucumber slice, squids, prawns and the vegetable kacang kelisa. Come together is some sambal belacan. It was placed on top of a banana leaf that give a nice aromatic smell. There is no soup to accompany it so, I have to scoop my wifes Fishball Soup into my Nasi Pantai. If it is called Nasi Pantai there should be some soup or maybe gravy as pantai always sea of water. Mmmmm. or maybe it get its name from Pantai Dalam or Lembah Pantai. (LOL) . My taste bus says 3 out of 5
