My Dream Destination

I had sent my entry for the Saya Nak Cuti contest organised by MAS Traveller before and eventhough I was told that I was selected as the top 20 finalist and done a video shoot at my office which was then overturned and I was drop from the Top 20. The destination for that dream vacation was Bali.
This week Projectalpha Instant Cash blogging again come up with the same tittle and I still choose Bali as my dream vacation. However this contect is not to win that dream vacation but just to enter the Nuffnang organised contest. I would very much love to go to Bali because of its five 'S' - serenityscenery, sun, sea, surf. As I had written in my essay for that particular contest that Bali is a blend of Islam and Hindu culture. Its the uniqueness of the island at the tip of Java.

Bali still has its beautiful scenery that provide the sense of serenity, calmness and tranquility surrounded by the sea and beautiful beaches with some areas providing waves for surfing and one can enjoy the sun all at one destination.

If one is considering to go for holidays there are two options that is organise your own trip or go through the tourist agent. Either option, it is wise for you to plan your travel so that your trip will be smooth and worth your money spent. One place where you can look for information and plan your holidays is a website from Malaysian Airlines System. This is it.

The website suggests you with destinations that can be memorable to you and you do not have to squeeze out your brain to plan. Besides the Trip Planner, visitors to the website can also share their experience in the recent blog post segment. It is advisable for you to subscribe (FREE) to Mas Traveller so that you will be mailed with latest news and informations from them.

Presently Project Alpha Season 2 is commencing and you can view the episodes on ruumz. You can join the conest too and win prizes from the sponsors. Here is episodes for your viewing:

Tech At Subaidah MITC, Malacca

For the first time I experience this restaurant using PDA to take orders. Maybe for those in Malacca knew about this for quite some time but for me its the first. The last time I was at this Subaidah Restaurant in MITC Air Keroh, it was all manual. As Malaysian I feel proud that technology has taken it path down to all levels.
The drinks for eight of us arrived as soon as he tap his PDA to confirm our food. On this area, they have beaten KFC, McD, Starbucks and even high end Coffeehouse and Restaurants.

Fail To Land RM 20 Again

Receive and email from Nuffnang informing me that my entry for week 6 was not in the 100 first entry receive. Seems that the contest has fished many bloggers now. I failed too in the 5th week but I can understand because I send in the entry a bit late.I sent in my posting on Wednesday.

For week 6 I sent in on Tuesday and still can't make it into the first 100 entry. So it seems that now bloggers have to stay in front of the monitor or laptop to know whether new tittle for the following week has been posted and send in the entry immediately at the expense of quality blogging. I did that for this week 7 and sent in my entry on Monday itself. I am already demoralized after two subsequent weeks.

Terengganu MB is chasing tourists away

I think some of you remember the PM requested hotels in the country to put a higher rate for rooms so that we can show tourist that our hotels are of high standard. Because to him by publishing a lower rate foreign tourist might think our hotels are of low quality. People are hoping for a lower hotel rate and he is asking them to increase the rate.

Who are those who can afford hotels that charge more than can afford to stay at hotels that charge RM300 per night and most is just for the bed to sleep at night. Its just like renting a semi detached house in some of the towns in Malaysia for a month. And that does not even contribute to 24 hours of stay because check-in is usually after 2.00 pm and check-out by 12.00 noon the next day. What to do its people first policy.

I read this again in the Star
Terengganu MB is chasing tourists away

So its another people's first policy on the line.

My Favourite Sport

This entry is to answer Nuffnang's Project Alpha call to write and post about My Favourite Sport. So whats my favourite sport?

During my school days most of the time the game I played was football and badminton. Football is the game for almost all kids. If you own a football, you will be an admirer among your peers. You will be a self proclaimed leader among them. When Malaysia won the Thomas Cup, badminton became a craze and courts sprung up on almost all empty space. I form a team and we had friendly matches with other communities who also have teams. Medals were DIY's , made of engraved tin foil from Milo tins pasted to plywood and hung using used typewriter ribbons because of its red and black colour resembling the actual medal. And when you sweat, the colour will blend and stick yo the skin and shirt. Those were the days.

Things changes nowadays. I have stop playing football after injuring my left knee in one of the matches when I was serving in Kota Marudu, Sabah. I stop playing badminton too and being sedentary for some years. Eventhough age is catching up but to me sports is still part of my life.

Whats my favourite sports then? With age catching up, my physical self has been limited in getting involve in sports. When talking about my favourite sports I can talk about being a spectator or being involved in the sports. Ever since I started playing paintball in January 2009, it has been my most favourite sports now. Hearing the word paintball itself attracted my attention and sparked interest in me. Whether its on the electronic media or over the internet, paintball has really caught me.

This extreme sports of paintball might not be very suitable for my age but I play it. I play not only as a recreational activities but competitively in the local league. Being an active player, the opportunity to be on the podium eventhough not receiving the highest medal, is still a memorable experience for a new player. Being an extreme sports, paintball needs lots of endurance due to its fast and swift moves.

Paintball is a sports of endurance, skill and strategy. Paintball trains an individual how to be a team player. In order to win a game all the players must cooperate with other team mates in planning the attack, manage  strategies and always communicate. A good paintball player must be well equipped with physical strength, endurance and mental toughness.

It also inject the element of discipline in all players. Among those is the strict safety rules and regulation that is a must obey for all involved to avoid inflicting injury to oneself of others around. Wearing of face mask all the time within the playing area, safety lock on for markers and barrel socks or plug on before exiting the playing area are some of the safety features that must be strictly followed. Players too need to learn be honest when shot at and marked, have to leave the playing area even when the referees did not see. Those are among the positive aspect of  the sport of paintball.

Playing the sports leaves us with heavy sweating and perspiration after every game. Sometimes we have to play on wet and soggy ground and get our whole body messy and smelly. After which we need to clean and refresh ourselves. Showering alone will not help but we can use these complete range of products  to overcome.
I am not sure how long I will keep playing this sport due to my increasing age. At times I found out that I am the oldest player at the venue and most are young players and some to the extend I can call them my son. However that does not demoralise me from playing the sports since I think I can create an example that getting involve in sports is not for the privilege few but for all to participate irrespective of age creed and religion.

This Project Alpha's season 2 blogging contest for week 6 tittle My Favourite Sports really suits the objectives and intention of the sponsors to promote their products especially the main sponsor Adidas Action3. Adidas is already synonym to sports and when we see or hear the word Adidas we are already thinking of sports. Adidas Action 3 has a range of products that suit the sports fraternity in terms of personal body care.

Project Alpha Season 2 is presented by Adidas Action 3 and supported by P1 and MAS.

Online Muslim Sex Shop

Online Muslim Sex Shop That Isn't a Sex Shop
Its an online sex shop for Muslims.

I picked this from HERE. Selling sexy stuff without incurring a fatwa is a tricky business. Aouragh, who reportedly also works for a site that assists the disabled in public places, consulted an imam before starting up El Asira, the Arabic word for Society. Anything with animal fats was forbidden, as it would not be halal. Pornography and what is described as "the extravagant side to erotica" are also no-go areas. And certainly no vibrators.
