Sufiah- Quite A Relief

It is quite a relief that the "Save Sufiah Campaign" by the government is hindered by the strict law of UK. It was reported in mStar online on 5th April 2008.

Misi ‘selamatkan Sufiah’ kini berdepan dengan masalah apabila Kerajaan Britain tidak membenarkan maklumat warganegaranya diselidik atau dikenal pasti.

Besides the government of UK, her mother too rejected the effort and only allow the President of the United Kingdom Malay Community Association (PMMUK) to search and rescue her daughter. From my perception, her mother took the right choice to not allow the government of Malaysia (read it as Kerajaan Barisan Nasional) interfere with her affairs. This is a personal family affair and does not involve our nationality. Sufiah is a British citizen. The fact that her mother is a Malaysian does not justify that effort. If with the intention of rescuing and bring a Muslim lady from the sin ditch back to Islam way of life, there are many more NGOs who should perform the duty. The duty is a fardu kifayah and the duty of every Muslims.

Seems that the taxpayers money is going to be spared after all.

I understand that I am not the only one who has this stand. Read here, here ,here and here.

According to Captain, another side of the story tells different thing, this side tells different things. What ever it is, what happen to her is too late. If anybody at fault let it be a lesson to the concerns.

Dear Capt,

I agree that whatever happens to someone should be a lesson to others. We don't know what our future will be will be.
