What Is This Foursquare Message About?

Found out some changes on Foursquare but it seems that there is no information about it. What it is all about. You can't get information about foursuqare badges if you search it on www.foursquare.com. The information is only available on other websites such as Wikipedia. Why Foursquare so stingy about information of the application to users? Another example is if you look at the screen print page I attached to this posting, you can see some blue dots scattered around the map.  One might ask what is this blue dot all about? My guess is location of users in the area. Well, anybody has some information?     That is only one of the guessing users have to make on 4square.

The only surah in Quran starting without Bismillah is surah 19.

Very interesting findings of Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan might  grasp your attention:

Dr.Tarig Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Qur'an that mention one thing is equal to another, i.e. men are equal to women.

Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times the word man appears in the Holy Qur'an is 24 and number of times the word woman appears is also 24, therefore not only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true mathematically, i.e. 24 = 24.

Upon further analysis of various verses, he discovered that this is consistent throughout the whole Holy Qur'an where it says one thing is like another.

Sea + land  100.00%

Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers 71.111% of the earth, while the land covers28.889%.  Is this a coincidence?Question is that

Who taught Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) all this?

Blog Fest Asia 2010

I have registered to attend the Blog Fest Asia to be held in Penang from 30th September to 3rd October. It will be held at Wawasan Open University. Invited bloggers from Asian countries will be attending and the three days event will be filled with half day conference, 2010 Mybloggercon award, workshops and group discussions. Twitter Being Hacked?

NEW YORK – A new way to cause mischief is spreading through short-messaging service Twitter as mysterious "tweets" of blocked-out text propagate themselves and cause popup windows to open.


It affects twits on tweeter.com. Well, thats for the time being. So if you are tweeting from your mobile, tweetdeck or other applications, you might be safe for the time being. 


It is getting more mischievous. More and more websites has been attacked. I think many online newspaper readers has experience the message warning visitors not to visit such website because of Malware.

Ni baru je sampai balik dari Tanjung Agas, Linggi. Jauh tu. Sebenarnya pergi hantar anak saudaraku yang belajar di Kolej Uniti di situ. Tak sangka jauh begitu. Tanjung Agas. Ianya on the way ke Melaka dan ianya merupakan jalan lama yang digunakan untuk ke Selatan sebelum adanya highway.

Dulu paling jauh aku pergi berkampung di area tu hanyalah Tiara Beach Resort. Tak tahu mengapa buat Kolej jauh-jauh begitu. Letaknya pun lebih dari 60 km dari bandar Seremban.

Today Is 08-09-10 And 100 Days Countdown

 This post is to mark todays date that never happen everytime and comes once in a while. Today too is significant to me as the 100 days countdown begins. 100 days from today I will enter into a new life as a retired Government servant. This caption below has been on my blog for some years as a reminder for me of how many days left for me to serve the country. However my commitment to my country will not stop when the countdown reaches zero. As a citizen I will fulfill my obligation to my country. 

Ramadhan Is Ending

Two more days and Ramadhan 1431 H is over. These two more days will be the final effort for those who seek the pleasures of Allahs’ forgiveness and blessing that is doubled more than normal months. Ramadhan is the holy month and mother of all months. Ever since the 1st of Ramadhan obidient Muslims has sacrifice their daily lives to obey Gods orders as stipulated in the Quran, preventing from consuming food and drinks from dawn to dusk and at night put up double effort to pray and submit oneself to God.

I and glad that this year has been the best year for me for Ramadhan. For the first time in my life, I have not missed all the compulsory night prayers of Maghrib, Isya’ and Suboh at the Surau and the Tarawih that comes only in Ramadhan. I am grateful that Allah had given me the opportunity to improve myself without fail this year. I hoe next year will be much better than this year, Insyaallah. Now I ask myself, will I be able to meet Ramadhan again next year?

SAMAN EKOR

The exodus begins. Many Klites will be leaving the city. The same too for others from other cities and towns all over. Ops Sikap 22 has already been in place. The statistics is alarming. Its a count up or a count down? Everytime when there is Ops Sikap we will be looking at whether the number increases. Just like the Olympic Games. The medal tally really attracts everybody. For the past three days death figures has been in two figures. What can we conclude from these figures. For me Ops Sikap is a failure and the relevant authorities has to look into other measures to check the increasing death list. Ops Sikap from my point of view is just another way for increasing Governments coffer through traffic summons. And these summons are the evergreen ‘Saman Ekor’ where drivers are penalised without trial and most of them are victims while the real offenders usually get off scott free. Saman Ekor is just another way of achieving KPIs for the traffic police.

Another reason that Saman Ekor fail is that traffic police are concentrating on speed traps when the real culprit of death is not speed. It is wreckless driving. How many times we find roads are police free when we travel on highways especially? Most of the time I travel from KL to Alor Setar, the most I see is one or two patrol car and at most time none. PDRM should deploy more patrol cars and traffic riders that ply up and down the road and highways. It would be a much better deterrent for drivers to flout traffic laws. Static police officer is not successful because they can only observe as far as their sight permits. Cooperation from drivers too, is very high whenever we see speed trap points, JPJ checking's etc. we will give the signal to warn fellow drivers. This is much so more visible amongst heavy vehicle such ad trucks, lorries and express buses. Every time they meet on the way they will wave at each other even though the other driver is not his friend. It is not just a friendly wave. Its a sign that there is no speed traps or police/JPJ check.

This post is drafted on Windows Live Writer. Found about out this windows application from a twit and since last night I have been concentrating on this new finding on blog posting. Maybe many blogger has been using this application to publish their posting. It will take sometimes for me to get used to this apps.

Windows Live Writer is one of Window Lives the service application and can be considered a one-stop-centre for posting blogs on blogger and wordpress etc.. I am not sure whether I will be able to stick with this apps and it all depend on how user friendly and easy to publish my blogs from here.
