Today I bought another prepaid. The latest mobile prepaid card in town - Tune talk. Now I have tried all the prepaids. Hotlink for my son, Celcom for wife and myself and this latest for myself. The word Tune must might not be aline anymore because we have heard of Tune money and Tune hotel. So this new kid must be from the same Tune family.
After I read about the arrival of this new mobile prepaid, I try to ask one mobile communication outlet in Seri Petaling about the starter pack. He said his shop do not have the pack but was wo ndering that many people came and inquire about the service. What makes him wonder is why a new player in the market can give such a good offer when the more established players can't do it. I just tell him to look at Airasia and MAS. When Airasia enters the market, they offer such low fares to fulfil their tag line "Now Everyone Can Fly". That drags MAS into their marketing strategy and now MAS is also offering lower fares. So with the introduction of the new prepaid that offer calls at 22 cents per minute to all operators besides the 5 cents per SMS, might create another war among the telcos which will benefit the consumers.
