These few days we can read about the police are concentrating on apprehending cyclist who are practising their human rights and rights as Malaysians in a democratic country. We hear that cyclist are detained (later released on police bail) and even being target of arsonist. Unhappy Malaysians being detained is a normal thing in Malaysia as every now and then because Malaysia is "democratic", where everyone has his/her "limited rights" as what is actually stated in the constituent. It is normal because unhappy Malaysians are more dangerouos than thiefs, robbers, snatch thief and murderers. Unhappy Malaysian can unseat the comfort of our politicians who are clinging to their power. But criminals just create inconvenience to layman or the rakyat not the politicians. So the police are more interested in condoning those who are practising their legal rights than those who are practising their illegal rights.
Report of arsonist torching down bicycles to prevent rakyat practising their rights is one that has to be pondered upon. Who is responsible? To date there is still no news whether those responsible has been identified and/or detained. We use to hear physical abuses were taken by the authorities at legal assemblies branded illegal. Jerit Cycle for Change Campaign is just another way of voicing out dissatisfaction like all other illegal legal assemblies. So, who torched the bicycles? And the next big question is: How harmful are those cyclist to the country's security? Cycling also cannot ah? Errrrr....I think praying in group is also illegal. OMG!!!!!
If you can't cycle with them follow them HERE.
