PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has brushed off speculation that petrol prices will increase by 40 sen following the government’s plans to restructure the subsidy system, including the petrol subsidy.
The Deputy Prime Minister said it was untrue and baseless, particularly when the Cabinet had not discussed subsidy restructuring at its weekly meeting yesterday.

copied from screenshots: This means since Abdullah Badawi became an elected Prime Minister in 2004, petrol has gone up by 97.1%, while diesel increased by a whopping 231%.
Update - See the queues HERE before midnight 4th Jun 08.
In August petrol will be RM 2.70 per litre and Diesel RM 2.58 per litre. Bull shit!!! Don't worry. We can still vote for BN again in the 13th GE.
Only those happy people with the increase are members of UMNO, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and all the BN component parties.
