When I was a kid playing with my peers and quarreled, it is not just a quarrel but more to it. It will involve goodwill and other gestures too. Both parties will not talk to each other, share nothing and deem the other party as the enemy. If my directive is not obeyed, then isolation seeps in too. This is the way of life of a kid. Everybody at one time or another will experience that situation.
Now this is the game played by the opposition in Penang by the opposition. How childish an adult is and what a low mentality these UMNO YBs, who were voted in by their supporters during the 12th GE. What a short sighted ADUNS we have when they adopt a jealousy attitude. As opposition they have their role to help the government build the state and not hamper any development. I am a Malay and I felt bad that there are such Malays still living in this 21st Century.
It was reported that Datuk Azhar Ibrahim is taking revenge (he denied) when BN is voted out of the state government.
PENANG: The state Umno will “persuade” the Federal Government to scrap all the mega projects in the state in view of the people’s clear rejection of Barisan Nasional. - The Star
Who does he think the government money belongs to? Its the taxpayer money and it belongs the to people. A government is appointed to manage the taxpayers money and any changes in government means a change in the people who administer that money and not changes in policy with immediate effects. Whatever projects is the project of the Malaysian Government and not the project of Kerajaan Barisan Nasional.
He said that this was not Penang Umno taking revenge “but we are actually giving the people what they want”. -The Star. So he means that even BN supporters who voted for BN but lost too will have to bear the responsibilities? What about the people in their respective constituencies who voted for them? They too have to be penalised and deprive of their rights?
This is what I consider a childish mentality in the mind of an adult. A third class mentality voted to be in the first class legislative.
