After the celebration by people in Kelantan, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan after the opposition took over the adnimistration, now the people of Perlis are the new happy lot. It was announced that the Raja of Perlis appointed a new MB. He is Bintong ADUN, Dr Md Isa Sabu.
I know many of my friends is looking forward for a new MB because they are getting fed up with the former MB. Hope the new MB can make changes for the betterment of the small state up north.
After nearly a week after the election, there are waves of dicsussions on the issue of demanding Pak Lah to step down as PM. The motion was started by Tun Mahathir and then followed by his son Datuk Mukhriz letter to the PM. A gathering at the PMs residence at Putrajaya is a sign that there are dissatisfied parties among BN components or UMNO itself that Pak Lah should resign. The concluded election result was one of the reason for the demand.

Today with the appointment of Dr Mohd Isa Sabu as the new MB for Perlis is another blow to the PM since his selection for the Perlis MB is Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim through the issuance of a letter of appointment. However the Raja of Perlis made a decision otherwise denying Pak Lahs choice.
Kuda Kepang's blog as posted in Harakahdaily also talk about the resignation. He got informations from reliable sources that other components of BN too wanted him to resign but was said that Pak Lah want his SIL to be elected as a full Minister in return for his resignation. Based on history, we can see that the road to PMship will all start from the post of Minister of Youth and Sports and then hold the Education Ministry. So will KJ be the next Minister of Youth of Sports if Pak Lah still hold the office of PM. Then the road for him to be PM at 40 will be a reality.
