I went back home for lunch and over BN TV (not sure which channel) the news that Rashit, EC Chairman's house was splashed with red paint. For Chinese Red is ong lor. But the red paint that was sent to Rashit was not the proper way. Its vandalism. As a citizen I disagree with the way they vandalised someones private property. No!, That doesn't mean I switched side. I am still as who I am before publishing this post.What happens to Rashit is not a surprise to the people. He has been the centre of grouses when it comes to election matters due to his biasness. Sometimes ago, Rashit's picture was torn by a group of protesters. Then after nimination day a group of dissatisfied PAS leaders also tear up a memorandum supposed to be sent to Rashit relating to the stamp duty directive for nomination papers. How long can the people bear what the EC has been doing by taking side and up to the extend of being tagged as another BN component. All over the country people are grumbling that the opposition is not contesting against BN but against the police, the army, the EC, the media and this is real time proof that election in Malaysia is unfair. Even foreign correspondent who keep tag on Malaysian politic see that election in Malaysia is contested on an uneven playing field. If BN were to contest on a fair ground they were wiped out long ago.
Activist have already warned that this 12th is going to be the dirtiest election in Malaysian history. So if something untowards were to happen in Malaysia resulting from the election, BN and EC has to bear all the responsibilities. Its because of their dirty tricks and unfairness give rise to all that.
This new incident will be another opportunity to smear the image of the opposition and all dumb and dumbers will believe what the media will shout out. Dirty tactics is part of Amno, so it is not a surprise that all kinds of shit will be used as trump cards during this election. BNTV will definitely accused the vandalism on oppositions because all BN supporters are angels who doesn't resort to all this kind of nonsense. Remember a drowning person will cling to anything found around him/her to stay alive?
Lets pray and hope Malaysia will still be a peaceful place to live after 8th Mac 2008.
