Malays Are Forgetful

Cartoon credit: Malaysian Cartoons copied from Kecek Kecek Tok Mudim

Remember the above statement that was made popular by our former Prime Minister? Translated "Malays Forget Easily". That is only one of what he say or practice during his powerful days as PM. When he step down as no 1 man in Malaysia, whatever he say to others all fall back on him. Just like the Malay proverb Meludah kelangit Jatuh ke muka sendiri (Spitting in the air and it drop back on your face).

This week he is one of the witness for the Lingam Tape enquiry and most of his answer is questionable. It seems that he is trying to hide something. For your information this tape has something in comon with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's case because the incident took place during the same time and those individual invloves seems to have something too with the case.

Fed up with Tun's answer to the enquiry board, today seven members from Malaysian Youth Group held a mini protest in front of the Jalan Duta court house for about 20 minutes from 10.30am, ridiculing the answers given by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday.

Spokesman for the group has this to say, “This is a clear indication that he has forgotten his past actions during his tenure as the prime minister.

“And Dr Mahathir had once said that Malays are forgetful. Actually he is the one who has proven to be most forgetful'' - The Star.
