This is my 700th posting and it so happen that I want to blog about Freedom. Bloggers are getting into the limelight by day especially those who write about Social Politics (SoPo Bloggers) . I sometime do write about SoPo to express my feelings about my country and the people who run my country. I hope bloggers still have the freedom to write since at one time or another someone need to be given a wake up call. Humans are not perfect and so they need that shake up once in a while.
However in this blog I want to jump onto the bandwagon with other bloggers throughout the world voicing about freedom for Burma. This is my small bit in raising the voice.
Back in our backyard, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has shaken the judiciary but releasing a 8 minute video clip about the arrangements of the judiciary leadership in Malaysia. Malaysiakini's report show that what transpire from the video clip analogues became a reality. The People's Parlaiment Blog has today launched a petition to His Majesty the Yang DiPertuan Agung to step in and do the necessary to restore the judiciary back to the rakyat.
You can view the Engish text of the petition at The People's Parlaiment.
Please give your support to this initiative by signing the petition and passing word of this initiaitve to your friends, colleagues, etc.
The government will not stop the rot in the judiciary.
We, the rakyat, must.
