Beginning 1st October 2007, Astro changes its channel numbers because they are changing to 3 digit numbers. The reason as they said is to accommodate 100+ channels. I find out that the new listing is very confusing and difficult to memorise. Whenever I want to change programme, I have to start from 101 and click the + programme until reaching the desired channel. So annoying and time wasting. Just wonder why jumble up the channel numbers instead of classifying the channels numbers according to category instead of jumbling them up.For example movie channels
HBO - 411
Cinemax - 412
Star Movie - 413
AXN - 701
Hallmark -702
Why must AXN be 701. It would be much easier to give it 414 and Hallmark as 415.

Agree with you..Should keep it plain and simple.
Astro just sux. They increase their prices with declining quality of their programs, tons of adds and movies that are being repeated over and over again...
and now they scamble all the channels..
