Malaysia walk into the Semis

Congratulation to the Malaysian Badminton squad for confirming a place in the Semi Finals of the Thomas Cup championship in Tokyo. So Malaysia will play Denmark, again an unpredictable team just like Koreans. As usual the media will write full of praise. Thats Malaysia. But when the team did not perform well, we see the upside down of it.

The hockey squad did not qualify for the World Cup in Germany later this year. But what hit them most is not the lost of a place in the World Cup but the 19 officials compared to just 18 players. I think we are good in balancing between players and officials when sending teams for oversea stint.

Now, let us see if it was fated that the hockey squad qualify for the world cup, I think headlines will read: Malaysia's new look. Supporting staff show the way to the World Cup.
