Malaysia So Unlucky

Malaysia does not make it to the final of the Thomas Cup after losing to Denmark. With this loss its the thrid major competition that Malaysia return a loser. First the Commonwealth Games. Eventhough they return with 7 gold it does not show any improvement considering we return with the same number of gold from Manchester 4 year ago. In fact from Melbourne they are short of 1 medal compared with Manchester.

They can say our traget is actually the Asian Games. What the heck.. then why do they name the project as Asiacomm. Does that includes Commonwealth Games too. And with such a large sum of the taxpayers money, they must have came back with a better result to prove that the program spearheaded by an Australian is on the road to success. We actually did not achieve independent eventhough have been celebrating Independence day since 48 years ago. Our mind are still being colonised.

The second debacle is our hockey squad did not make it to the World Cup finals in Germany. National Sports Council is trying to show that to make champions we need not only the coach but supporting staffs in different departments especially in the area of Sports Science. They are unlucky because the team did not make it or else, they can be proud of exposing the new look in team preparation.

The third debacle is the failur of the Thomas Cup squad. Before the competition, our chief coach says that we are confident of bringing back the cup since this is the best ever sduad Malaysia has. Well, now let us see what will happen in the Asian Games. Bear in mind that standard of Asian Games is much higher than the Commonwealth Games.
