Winners Of Schools LEGO® Building Contest

The Schools LEGO® Building contest has concluded with over 18,169 voters vote for the winners. the results are as follows:

(Category B: 6 – 10 yr olds)

Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Uda 2 

 (Category C: 11-14 yr olds)

Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Universiti 1

(Category A: 4 – 5 yr olds)

Iconic creations submitted by students for this competition included the Parliament to the KLCC Towers and a LEGOLAND® replica. The contest was organised by LEGOLAND® Malaysia. 

The Park will open to the public on 15^th September 2012 and the Media and staff family day was organised on 31st August and 1st September respectively to put the theme park to test before the official opening. 

“We’re always looking for the next generation of LEGOLAND®model builders and this contest clearly illustrates the great potential and high calibre of work students are capable of,” said Siegfried Boerst.

He added: “I am  delighted with the overwhelming response from students and teachers who took part as well as members of the public who voted. I would like to congratulate the winning schools and all those who participated for their impressive efforts. LEGO® bricks are a great tool to encourage thinking out of the box and I hope children will continue to draw inspiration from the world around them.”
