New Tyres : Front Wheel or Back Wheel?

A piece of advice for those who want to change new tyres on your car. Most of us think that when we change new tyres we will put it as the front wheel with the impression that the full thread will give a better grip on the road.

A friend sent this email with the video attachment and after watching it decide to share with my readers. Click this link :Không thay lốp (vỏ) mới vào 2 bánh trước xe

NB : This is not another virus thread

Comparisons on both car in the video, one with new tyres on the front wheel and another with the new tyres on the back wheel. Impressive enough the tests on slippery road proves that car fitted with a new tyres on the back wheel has more grip on the road compared with the front wheel.

Just one thing that was not mention and I too am not sure........What about cars with a front wheel drive. A front wheeled drive car means the wheel is pulling the car while a rear wheeled drive, the wheel push the car.

Any opinion from the experts?
