Second Day Aidil Fitri 2009

catitanalamaya.blogspot.com/2009/09/2-syawal-1430.html
Hari Raya Aidil Fitri is a two day public holiday for Malaysia. It mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadhan. This year for those states with Sunday as weekend have Tuesday as a replacement since first day of Hari Raya falls on Sunday.

My second day of Aidil Fitri is filled with family gathering. Its a big gathering of the Tok Naidin descendants. Tok Naidin was from Southern Thai who migrated to the state of Kedah and settled in Kubang Pasu. It is believed that his grave has been located near a place called Paya Pahlawan in the Kubang Pasu District.

The Paya Pahlawan can be seen on the left of Kampung Alang Lama in the Google map below.

We arrived quite late because of the most popular reason whatsoever, woke up late. Then the jam also contribute to us being late and this is on a rural road. One reason being those stupid, selfish drivers overtaking on the left (considered emergency lane) at long queues. These are the drivers that create jams because of their selffishness and no discipline at all. I pray that these type of drivers will meet with nasty accidents on the road. I swear because I never did that. When are they going to learn to respect others.
