It was suppose to be a visit by my team to paintball proshop at Bandar Tun Razak. Arrived at 9.45 and had berakfast at a stall nearby while waiting. However it seems that my team members did not make it. So I was the only one present.
The shop tauke was on the way when I arrive and I just sit and wait outside reading paintball magazine on the table. The tauke, Andrew came some time later and it was the first time I met him after hearing and reading about his name in My NPL forum and Werdna Hol Forum. Of course I introduce myself as one of the Yakuza team member and it was suppose to be a team visit.
Andrew showed me around and introduce a new pair of paintbal attire, from Sly Equipment, the Sly Pro-Merc pants and jerseys. The material seems to be tough and of good quality. Well, I did not enquire about the price which I expect to be beyond my budget. He also showed me the new knee and elbow arm protector from the same brand. Its comfortable of course on my hand when I tried it out but maybe not on my wallet though.
I came to know that one team that played with us during the Bloggers Paintball Tournament and together with us in D4 of My-NPL, had ordered markers and customised to their team name.
To me it was a fruitful visit because now I have a brief idea of the pricing of paintball equipment so that I can prepare myself a budget to build up my paintball gears. I have been reading about markers and the price was quite high which might not be reachable for me but after the visit I found out I can get a full set for less than RM 2K. Even paintball pants advertised on the internet as a RM 1 less than RM 500 can be bought for below RM 300. Now have to cari duit lor.

what marker u planned to have?
I have no preference yet but when I visit the proshop, I saw a new stock of Azodin marker. I was told a full set is less than RM2K. However I am still a D4 player and do not need an e marker urgently. BTW whats your suggestion.
how about Smart Parts? Vibe or ION is normally the pick for newbies. Somemore it operates on CO2 - by using anti siphon tank but it's a little heavy lah..heheheh...
buying marker is just like buying a car...
no hard feeling, would you buy a proton over a honda? cos its the same from the performance wise...
I use to think of buying an ION... cos its cheap in this industry... but you would have to upgrade for more performance... My friend who is using an SP ION and he upgraded his SP ION till RM5k+++ almost touch RM6k, which I think its not SMART to do so... At that kind of price you can get a nicer marker...
cheers
Angel
