Today is Aidil Fitri, the day where fogiveness fills the air especially among Muslims young and old all over the world. On this day in Malaysia the tradition of organising open house as become part of the aidil fitri culture. On this day too our PM and his Ministers organise their open house at PWTC, the HQ for UMNO. However this joyous occasion has been' marred' by unexpected guest. I am not against this unexpected guest because if I was in KL, I might have join them too to show our support for PRK since I am in the blogging community too.
Buletin Utama over TV3 only report of the present of Hindraf group but not the blogger group showing support for RPK. Maybe this is not the right avenue to show protest for most of us, but where else and when is the right time can they voice out their feelings? The government always say they listen to the rakyat but that is only sweet talk. Only gula-gula to please the minority who believes them. Humans are well known to have a limit to being patient. And after the March 8th, the patience of most Malaysians has come to the edge. The PM never listens and thats why today there are people who make their presence to voice out the plight of Malaysians who are undergoing unlawful detention and for the wrong reason. These ISAs are not communist for which the purpose if ISA was implemented by the British.
Hindraf came to send a message to PM to release their 5 friends in Kemunting and freedom of return for one who is now oversea. The bloggers came with the same message that is to request PM to release RPK and scrap off ISA. If PM and the government were to listen to the plight of the rakyat regarding the unlawful ISA, then todays Hari Raya open house at PWTC would have not been attended by these two groups. Selamat Hari Raya Pak Lah.
