I receive from time to time surveys and one of them is from Planet Pulse. This is just one of the culprit that send mass surveys invitation to subscribers and in the end just to fill up the mailbox. Another culprit is Cari Survey. The reward is what tempt respondent to set aside some time to fill the survey time.
When Cari send surveys, I usually get the thank you message on the first page after I fill in my job nature. Usually its a bloody thank you because my job nature does not fit the survey. If the survey want to find respondent of a particular job nature, why not just mention in the invitation who they are looking for and not a general invitation.
From Planet Pulse too I often receive invitation to take their survey. This last invitation prompt me to post this blog. I marked in red the tie I received the invitation that is Sep. 5, 2008 at 9.55 PM. I click the email to go into the survey page on Sept 6, 2008 at 7.55 a.m. and what I get is the message saying quota full eventhough the survey only ends on Sept 8, 2008. See attached screen capture at the end of this blog. WTF then this Planet Pulse is sending mass invitation if just a few respondent is needed for the survey.
