Motion of No Confidence

People were waiting earnestly for SAPP under Datuk Yong Teck Lee to file a motion of no confidence towards the PM leadership on 23rd Jun 2008. However their hope flies away because the motion was not filed and on that particular day the two SAPP MPs were not even present at the parliament seating and said to be called back to Sabah.

However the rakyats hope came back to life when the opposition have the guts to do what SAPP failed. I read on The Star online that the opposition leader in Parliament, Datin Seri Wan Azizah will file a motion of no confidence towards the PM. Even though it will be an uphill battle if the motion is tabled but at least the message will be sent to the PM and the people that there are brave representatives who can stand up for the people and I think women of Malaysia feel proud because it will be tabled by a women. An emergency motion of no confidence against Prime Minister at the office of the Dewan Rakyat Speaker at about 3.45pm Thursday.

After filing the motion, she said there would be no voting involved in the process, as Pakatan Rakyat was not seeking a no-confidence vote. - The Star.

If the present PM received a motion of no confidence then will the man who will replace him is much better. Ask the people on the street, the answer will be another man who will fail to lead the country for some years to come. I remember reading a blog post at Citizen Blog by Ahmad Hafidz Baharom who writes, After Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the next person in line would obviously be Malaysian "Cheney", Najib Tun Razak.

And after he's screwed up for a few years, or someone somehow exposes the catacomb filled with skeletons that is his closet, he will probably be replaced by his own cousin, Hishamuddin Tun Hussein.

And after a few years longer, we'd probably have Khairy Jamaluddin as Prime Minister for another 22 year spell.

Considering all three, and what I know of them currently, I personally support neither of them.

The question then would be, can Anwar be any different? Considering what he's done in the past, supporting the constant decisions that very well help screw up our nation, can this man now change his ways (which he mentions constantly) and not be a letdown to the entire nation?

Paklah had already said that there should be no contest for no 2 post in UMNO because that post will be held by the man who is going to succeed him as Prime Minister. Now how did PakLah know that the rakyat and UMNO members like that man? If that man really has the support of the rakyat and especially UMNOs open the floor to a democratic contest. If there is no nomination (because UMNO Divisions will be "forced" not to nominate any other UNMOians) and that man wins, it means there is support from all walks of life. Hahahahahahaha...........support. So after Jun 2010 we are going to have a new PM who most people on the street knew his background and morale.
