First it was giving FREE syringe to drug addicts. Now The Star reports that Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad, suggests that women to carry condoms for their own protection. He was quoted by the paper; “This is not to debase them but to protect them. Women are the first ones to get exploited by their partners. But this is just a suggestion, it’s up to them,”
When a women carries condom in their handbag it encourage their mindset that 'it's ok if he want to have sex with me. I have a condom for protection.' Are we going to encourage women to think that way? Promiscuous sex should not be encourage but convince them to avoid it.
Why do we have to point fingers at women again when it comes to sex outside the marriage institution. Even though the advise is good but to me its a negative suggestion in that putting women on the wrong side when men influence her to have sex.
I just can't accept the idea of if we can't beat em, follow em.
Ladies, carry condoms when going out for some grocery shopping at super mart? Then risk your husband finding them in your handbag and wondering what the heck is that rubber thingy doing in it.
