Malaysia Belongs To BN and UMNO?

It is very interesting to know that Malaysia belongs to UMNO and not all Malaysians. Datuk Lee Kah Choon, former Gerakan Deputy Seceretary General quit his membership after receiving a show cause letter why he can't be sacked from Gerakan after he accepted the nomination of a DAP government post in Penang. The reason being the Penang government is not BN or Gerakan. TPM reason out why Batuk LKC must quit Gerakan.

In SHAH ALAM: Datuk Dr Tan Kee Kwong is another Gerakan leader to take up a post with an Opposition-led state government.

Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Ismail Sabry Yaakub has asked Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir to resign as Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chairman, citing the post as a government appointment. It came after Datuk Mokhzani quits as an UMNO member following his fathers footstep to resign as UMNO member.

"The post belongs to the government. As he (Mokhzani) has left Umno, in principle, he has to relinquish the position," said Ismail Sabri, citing SIC as a subsidiary of Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad, which is controlled by the government through Khazanah Holdings. NST Online. So, the government belongs to the people of Malaysia and NOT Barisan Nasional.

Rocky's Bru posting HERE is worth a read. I quote part of his posting : "Nowhere does it say that you must be an Umno member (to hold positions in government-related entities). Idris Jala is not Umno, he's not Malay, he's not Muslim.
