Save Sufiah? Our money? What!!

What!!!!!. Taxpayers money is going to be spent to save just one supposedly Malaysian women from prostitution in the Save Sufiah campaign. Whats the justification to send someone at the level of a Minister to UK just for the sake of a non Malaysian citizen? The money spent to save one soul can be put to better use locally on more needies.

If one surf the website advertising prostitution on the web there are other Malaysians too and why not they be listed in the campaign. Why waste time and money for the sake of a daughter of a Malaysian married to a Pakistani and residing in London who at her own will sell her body for sex at 130 pound an hour.

YBs, there hundreds more local Malaysians, who are Muslims (if the reason for the campaign is because Supiah is Muslim) and selling of their body in Malaysia. Aren't they too need to be rescued from the sinful alleys?

We can help these fellow Malaysians without having to send Minister in PM's dept, Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his deputy, Senator Datuk Dr. Mashitah Ibrahim on a taxpayer paid holiday to England and without using the Malaysian public's money to pay for the university fees & other expenses of a British subject. sean-the-man.

It is much profitable to send rescuers to Chow Kit, Bukit Bintang, Jalan P. Ramlee and many more places in the country where more sinners can be saved rather than a holiday reward for two Ministers and their entourage at the expanse of taxpayers money.

However Minister of Higher Education Ministry, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin has a more matured approach when he said, he would ask the Malaysian Student Department (MSD) in London to look into the matter and what drove the gifted girl to resort to prostitution. [NLRCTT think the service from MSD can be as good as free]

"Based on the MSD's report, we will find a way to help her, and see whether it's really because of her financial problem or there are other reasons," he told reporters here Wednesday.

Mohamed Khaled said the early report received indicated that her action was not due to her wanting to finance her studies as she had left her studies some time ago, but could be due to her family problems.

"She's 23 now and she's also a British citizen. She has the right to do what she wants... so our role is limited...." - BERNAMA

Totally agreed with Zach's comment there. You had covered all the angles and I cant think of any much to say. let look into this in point form .
1. - She CHOOSE not to complete her studies.
2. - She CHOOSE to get married.
3. - SHe CHOOSE to be a prostitute.

To summarise those points, She choose her path. Then let her be. And If the government want to volunteer themself to help her out, then volunteer to spend on your own expenses.

Lastly I pitied the Malaysian to have those kind of LEaders to lead their life.

thanks for your comments. Agree that she is a genius and she choose her path of life. They must remember the Malay proverb, "Yang dikejar tak dapat yang dikendong keciciran"

Capt,
Thanks. It is better to use our money to feed the needy in Darfur than one foreign citizen.
