How Safe Are Our Electrical Items

With more than electrical item used at any one time we can't run away from using extension cables. Buying an extension cables is very easy. All supermarkets and stores will have them on their racks. We can buy them from two sockets right up to 5 or six sockets. Some are come with lightning circuit breaker. However are they really safe and pass the authority's standards? We can say so because they come with a sticker. How genuine are the stickers? I bought one recently and see the doubtful sticker supposed to be from Suruhanjaya Tenaga which means the product passed the commissions standards. Both picture in this posting is from the same product.

People at Suruhanjaya Tenaga can't spell Bahasa Melayu correctly? Is it a printing error? Or the sticker is just a disguise to show that the extension cable is safe to use. The correct spelling should be SURUHANJAYA not SURUHAJAJA
