The five states and Kuala Lumpur that has been captured by BR should not hope that the MSM and electronic media become a whistle blower for them. Selangor MB has already given an ultimatum to Selangor.fm to be for in their reporting and now given a week to change their policy to suit the new state government. The MB asked Selangor.fm to give the MB and Exco a slot of an hour for them to explain and whistle blow the state governments message so that the rakyat who voted them into office knew what the people they voted for are doing.
It is right for Datuk Khalid to tell Selangor.fm that, " Mereka harus ingat mereka bekerj di Negeri Selangor yang man kita yang memimpin negeri ini..." So, does the people worling in Selangor.fm think that they belong to BN? When Bn was the ruling government, all government staff were advice to be loyal to the government of the day. So when the government of the day is BR, then all government servants in the state are staff of the BR government not BN anymore. Or they are still doesn't realise that BN is becoming obsolete in Malaysia?
BR should learn this situation and now must come up with their own medium of communication. Now we depend on the individual websites such a Harakahdaily, Malaysiakini, Malaysiakita, Anwar Ibrahims blog and the BR component party's website for information.
Would it be easier for BR to set up a common information centre on the internet and all BR state government feed this website with news and programmes. It is much more effective than the print media?
