The 12th GE 2008 really created history in its right.
ONE - Bloggers and blogs played their role in swinging of votes which made MSM as second string news source. The New Media, which was deemed as baseless source of information by the ruling government esp the Zam Ala Kazam also helped him fall down from his seat. Bloggers are mostly women (and men) who have nothing to do, jobless and only know how to spread lies, slander and sedituous materials. So they said. But we bloggers have our pride and honour and I think we are some of the happy lot with the outcome of the 12th GE08.
TWO - Mobile Phones SMS technology too did played an important part in disseminating news and information within seconds to anywhere in Malaysia and worldwide. Much faster than blogs. However much SMS due to its limited capacity are mostly used to send short messages (as it is called SMS) but effective.
THREE - Jokes too did not miss out on the election campaign and fun. For the first time voters can niat : Sahaja aku masuk BARISAN untuk mengundi PAS kerana KeADILan. Then there is also the story of two Ministers, Pak Lah and Samy Vellu, on a heli ride. Besides work of art and literature too, make the 12th GE08 more interesting.
