Just A Little Scare from Advertlet

I got a little scare when I logged in my blog xperienceoflife when suddenly it was being hijacked by another blog before it finished loading. I tried a few times and every time when it come to loading the advertlet skyscraper advertisement, the page switched to Advertlet.com. The picture below is the page that hijacked my xperienceoflife.

So I sensed that it might be advertlet that causes the problem So I go back to blogger layout and remove the advertlets HTML banner code and saved it again. Yes! this time the blog loaded as normal. So my conclusion is that there is something wrong with the advertlet code. And my next experiment I add a new page elements and paste the same code before saving and tried viewing the blog again. Zapppp!!! it goes back to the page as in the picture above. So it is confirmed that the code is actually hijacking my blog.

I am going to report to advertlet about the matter because I have an advertisement running on that banner and removing it might affect payment for the advertisement. Before posting this blog I try to do another experiment to see whether the code has been changed by any Trojan, worm of Brontok but after keying the URL www.advertlets.com.my it goes to just www.advertlets.com. There is a message on the top of the page that the domain name expired on Jan 03, 2008. So, advertlerts domain name had expired? If this is genuine then what will happen to the ongoing advertisement because advertiser will definitely be not happy that their ads are not running on the blogs they advertised. Any other blogger face the same problem too?

It seems that I am not the only one with this problem. I tried to view all my friends blog that I knew has advertlets advertisement on their blog and it was also diverted to advertlets.com. I have already sent an email to advertlet about this.
