The news says that, "England will miss next year's European Championship in a huge embarrassment to the nation that invented modern soccer". Soi that means one of the big boys in European soccer will be missing. I am not a fan of any European football teams but I do love to keep track of what is happening in the sports world especially soccer, the most popular sports in the world.
The excitement in Euro 2008 will be a bit damp, just as there is no Brazil in the World Cup. To England fans, don't despair. There will always be another Euro four years after 2008.
