When I was in Kota Kinabalu, I had the opportunity to visit the floating bookshop, MV Doulos. It was my first time on the ship when I miss her visit at Port Klang in 2006. Many bloggers had written about this topic, so I am not going to write much more. Let the picture (from my point of view) do the talking.
On the day of my visit there is not many visitors and I consider quite lucky because I don't have to stand in the queue under the scorching heat. However what I miss is one of the section where volunteers are stocking and arranging books for display.

Even local books in Bahasa Malaysia can be found in the bookshop. However the price of these books is being sold at market price (I suppose). I found a book on how to write for money. There is no price (in units) and after inquiring at the information I was told that the price is RM38 (East Malaysia price). It is cheaper in West Malaysia. So I did not buy the book because I can buy it cheaper back in Kuala Lumpur.
Among the souvenir being sold on board.I bought these two books at RM 40.00 (300 and 200 units)
