I am writing thisblog at a cybercafe in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Arrived here on Monday after a 7 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. At first I decided to take the Express bus, but there are no ticket available due to the weekend in Kuala Lumpur and most Kelantanese will return to Kota Bharu to spend the weekend with their families.
I seldom drive during the day due to the heavy traffic and the heat but this time I have no choice. I thought of leaving earlier on Friday night but got the news that my brother is coming from Alor Setar for the final of the Malaysia Cup at Bukit Jalil. So I waited to meet them first.
Even though I did not made myself present at the final, I am much more than happy that my home team won the match beating favourite Perak 3 goals to nil. I think Kedah won because I was not at the stadium. According to the record, Kedah will loose the match whenever I go to see them. I seldom go to football matches involving my state team. As a record Kedah looses matches when I was present - Sabah 1 - Kedah 0 , Finals Malaysia Cup Pahang 2- Kedah 0, Finals Malaysia Cup Perlis 1 - Kedah 0. So its better for me to stay away from Kedah matches.
CONGRATULATION TO ALL KEDAH PLAYERS AND OFFICIALS FOR WINNING ALL THE CUPS THIS YEAR. NOT FORGETTING THE FANS WHO FILL THE STADIUM GIVING MORAL SUPPORT TO THE TEAM.
