Genting Highlands is a city by itself and they even have their own police force for security purposes. The resort owned by Resort World and the man behind it is Lim Goh Tong. All basic necessities is available under one roof and it is just about 51 kilometres away from the city of Kuala Lumpur. It is accessible by road (bus, taxi and private cars) or helicopters.
Model of an aerial view of the resort city. This can be viewed at the Visitors Galleria and admittance is FREE.
There are two alternatives to reach the peak that is by car all the way up or park it at Gohtong Jaya Cable Car station and take the cable car up and experience a breathtaking view of the lush green Equatorial forest along the way.
My first visit in 2006, I drove all the way up to First World Hotel and this time since I stayed at Gohtong Jaya, I just took a half day visit using the Skyway Cable Car.
Superman too visited Genting highlands but he nearly destroyed one of the building. Or maybe he is leaving after loosing his bet at the casino.
Another culprit who is trying to destroy a building. Maybe he too is angry because he lost his bet.

Here are my memories at Genting Highlands in pictures.
I'll shoot your head out.
Oh No!, I have to buy this eZICash at RM50.00 to play at vision city. The price of the card is inclusive of a RM 5.00 refundable deposit. So a card has RM 45 value and one has no choice but to finish it because whatever balance left is non-refundable. Personally I do not agree with this kind of forced purchased. Genting should refund any available balance and the card deposit. They are making more than enough money at the casino and don't force innocent children to spend RM 45 in less than an hour. Its a bad practice for children.
