For the first time I witness a Chinese culture life. Usually I just see from far but got this opportunity to feel the atmosphere, here in Kuching. I was walking along the Waterfront when I saw something interesting on one of the lanes along Main Bazaar Street. As I walk into the area, saw some photographers and some activities going on. What I saw the photographer were capturing a young man doing skating stunts and what seems not right is that he is trying to manouvre his zkate board over two dustbin which I think belong to the City Council. The area was well lit and at first I thought it was the lantern festival but later found out that it was the Moon Cake Festival.
This is the man and his ballon art.
This is Malaysia. The festival is a Chinese culture, but the presence of a kompang group is a testimony that Malaysian can live in harmony even though they come from different ethnic groups and beliefs.
