I feel proud to have chosen the tittle of my blog Nasi Lemak Roti Canai Teh Tarik. The reason being the three items I have chosen has been voted to in the top 5 list of favourites among Malaysians. Nasi Lemak is still running at No 1 spot, Roti Canai 3rd and Teh Tarik 4th. I am hoping that Roti Canai will make it another ladder up to beat Nasi Kandar and Teh Tarik will follow up the ladder.The Star runs a survey in collaboration with the 50th Anniversay of Malaysia on things that Malaysian share and love. MAS official in flight magazine also carries an item on Nasi Lemak in its August 2007 issue and I took three copies of it on three different flights just to keep it as a souvenir. I am hoping tha
t that issue can be a collectors item in future since the issue coincide with our 50th anniversary too. The copy carries articles about Malaysia which will be part of history. Among the article carried in the issue;

Among the article carried in the issue;- Birth of A Nation compiled by Eugene Ng with pictures that can be historical in nature.
- High Flying Dreams, text by Lim Chee Wah and Photos from Malaysian Airlines Archives. It tells of the birth of Malaysia Airlines beginning with Malayan Airways Ltd in 1947.
- Eugene Ng also write about 4 Malaysians relating what Merdeka means to them in the article Remembering'57. The figure interviewed by Eugene are Tunku Datin Paduka Khadijah, the daughter of Almarhum Tunku Adul Rahman, fathre of Independence. Dato' Dr Khoo Khay Kim, a well known historian in Malaysia, Suhaimi Baba, a film producer and Tan Sri Datuk Dr Hj Yahaha Ibrahim was also in the article.
I had this Nasi Lemak on Flight MH 2608 KUL to LBW on 12th August, passengers was served Nasi Lemak since its a morning flight.
