Have you ever take a look at the gas cylinder that you buy for your house? I found this and love to share.
This evening I bought a 13.8 kg Petronas cooking gas at the price is RM 22.50. but What I am going to blog here is not the price but what I found on the top of the cylinder where the supporting plate holds the handle ring. There are metal plates welded into the inside of the supporting plate which logically add weight to the cylinder. I don't see the purpose of the additional metal plates unless to compensate the weight of gas which is not the exact amount that consumer paid for. If it is true then the weight of the gas is not 13.8 kg but less and the metal plate compensate it. Look at the photos attached. I have also written and posted the same picture at The Star Citizenblog. Just hoping someone from Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna read this blog or the one at Citizenblog (if it is published).
Both these pictures come from the same cylinder. Maybe Petronas Gas can explain this or the work of unscrupulous companies at the filling depot.
