Shahrir Samad: The 'playful politician'

.......he set up his blog after realising there was a growing and vocal e-community in Malaysia that should be tapped.

"As leaders, MPs should be more IT-savvy, in line with the Government’s call for people to be well-versed in ICT,"

Lim, who started his blog at http://blog.limkitsiang.com last August, said blogging provided a good platform for him to interact with the Internet-savvy community, he was able to get his views read and obtain feedback, he added.
