I wrote this in citizenblog at TheStar online
I receive my PIN for my Nex G card a few weeks back. Well, I use this prpaid card because my credit cards has been blocked for the reason you might guess why. This is a prepaid card. You pay upfront before being able to make any transactions. Thecard has to be purchased at 7 Eleven outlets at a price of RM 25.00 per pack.
Then after filling the form inclusive in the pack you have to send the card to Customer Service of AMBank and wait for four working days to be activated (call them) Hmmmm....so my card has been activated, of course after calling them. A few days later I got my PIN.
With the PIN I can use the card at ATMS for transactions such as checking my balance or cash withdrawal. Sounds great huh.....
When I first use the card at the ATM and gasp!!. my balace is RM 3.00. Where is my another RM 22. Is it lost in thin air? I had never made any transactions. Now I wonder about my money. I understand that the bank charge RM3 per month for service chage. And its RM 3.00 not RM 23.00 OK, 2 days later I top up RM200 and back home checked my balance online. OH My God. My balance is only RM 197.00 (another RM 3.00 missing). Now I have a total of RM 26.00 missing.
I called AMBG customer service at about 6.00 in the evening and for three consecutive time the answer I got is a recorded voice message telling me that "they are busy". Wa.... so many customer call customer service aaa.....AMBG must have many customer with problems I suppose. Then I thought why waste on my phone bills and leave my number for the customer service to call back as instructed. Half an hour later still nobody from customer servie at AMBG called me. Until I write this blog no one from AMBG customer service called. Waaaaaaaa....they are so busy kaa?. (Wondering how efective is customer service actually)
Alooooo!!..... I hope someone from AMBG can clarify what is happening with this Nex G cards.
