The raya rush has come into effect. Last year when travelling back to Alor Setar, I decided to take off from home at 10.00 pm hoping that the road will be less congested. But I was wrong, others have the same thought too. I was trapped in a bumper to bumper crawl all the wat after Jalan Duta toll right up to Tg. Malim where I exit and use the tunk road as usual. At last it was a relieve the trunk road is near empty and driving was smooth.
This year I decided to leave later at night and took off from home t 2.00 am. Phewww, driving was smooth. Not many cars on the highway and the trunk road is almost empty. I think I did not meet more than 20 cars along the trunk road from Tanjung Malim to Simpang Pulai where I enter the highway again. I hope nobody think the way I think or I'll be stuck in the slow moving traffic again.
