Satay

This is one of the delicasies of Malaysia. The name of this roasted meat or chicken is called "satay". It is either meat or chicken and roast over charcoal fire. The picture below shows how to eat the satay. Dip it into groundnut gravy and yummy....... Usually a set of satay comes with sliced cucumber and boiled riced wrapped in coconut leave.

Roasted satay meat absorbs carbon from the charcoal fire and carbon can cause cancer. In order to neutralise the carbon, u must eat the cucumber provided.

These pictures were taken at a famous Hj. Samuri Satay Kajang when we stop for a break at southbound Sungai Buloh R&R on PLUS Highway.
